Mag-Lone-Freak
There's a guy on a friending network I want to get in touch with but I can't tell when the last time he logged on was or if he's single or not...That info has been hidden by him...I sent him a message a while back threw the site AND an e-mail to him, but I never got a response. Some people rarely sign on to some of their accounts, and I'm wondering if he immediatley took my e-mail as one of those spam e-mails right off the bat with those tricking subject lines and ignored it right away...Should I try again? or maybe friend one of his friends and see what they say? If so, what do I say to the friend so I don't come off the wrong way?
gopher
Have you tried friending him? If you do friend one of his friends, you'll have to be somewhat deceptive with them, as you investigate more about this guy. I'm not sure that's the best way to start out any relationship. finkelstein
what did you title you email and what type of friendin network is it?
Author Mag-Lone-Freak
To answer both questions, no, I didn't try friending him, 2nd in my title I put my user name and that I was from "Vampire Freaks" the network, a strange one where there are 2 friend categories, one you friended and one who friended you. I asked him if I saw him at this one club on new years. He was in my favorites. I decided to e-mail his friend (which is a girl here in T.O) yesterday, before I did, I deleted him from my favorites so it wouldn't look suspicious...I just introduced myself and mentioned a few things I noticed we had in common...Maybe I should just be direct next time and ask how she knows him...? Or meet up with her and let the subject come up naturally...
Author Mag-Lone-Freak
ok there...I just e-mailed him...There was no word from his friend, nor has she been signed on to her account lately, so I thought "ok why not"...I put immediately in the subject line "Lets meet" the next time he was in town here and simply put that I was interested in meeting him and my picture...So we'll see... This is definitely one of the things I'll mention in my next show whatever happens...I'll hopefully have it up beginning of next month...
