RogueAC
Hey OP – have you considered seeing a nutritionist? I found one a few years ago that specializes in vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free diets, etc. It really helped me balance my diet and find the right non-meat protein sources. Also, some good veg cookbooks go along way. It might help to find local stores/restaurants that specialize in veg food. One of my favorite places has delicious food, workshops and "food lifestyle meetings".
FleshNBones
Humans are animals. The fact that we can do certain things they can't doesn't make us more intelligent.Have you ever eaten humans? Are you smarter than a bird? Animals don't have a problem with eating human remains.
Geishawhelk
I wouldn't have a problem eating human remains if my religion allowed it, or I was desperate. The lost flight in the Andes resulted in passengers eating the corpses of their dead companions. We are animals. And we don't have a problem eating animal remains either..... I don't know if I'm smarter than a bird. I can't build a nest with just my mouth, like the weaver bird can, or fly thousands and thousands of miles guided only by the earth's magnetic pull and the sun's trajectory.... or mimic other sounds, climb through a crocodile's mouth to extract food bits. Those are all indications of how smart birds are. They do it because they can. We have to learn or be taught skills like these. So who's dumber? What's your point?
