sweetmind20 Posted September 22, 2003 Share Posted September 22, 2003 hi, i was wondering if i could get someone's opinion. my boyfriend and i have been together for two years. we are both in our early twenties. (he is 22 and i am 21). he just asked me to move in with him. the thing is, he is starting to drop hints about starting a family. he says that he wants to get a bigger car because he needs more room for people. (it's not like he doesn't have a four-five seater car already). and he asked me if i thought a two bedroom house was enough room cuz what if there is more than one kid. taking all these hints into account, i have realized that i don't want to have kids until i have a ring on my finger. my question is this... if a guy asks you to move in, and starts talking about minivans and kids is that a clue that he's leaning toward marriage? i ask because he hasn't proposed to me at all, yet his words tell me a little different. it would really be helpful if i could get an opinion. thanks! Beatnik Posted September 23, 2003 Share Posted September 23, 2003 It's quite possible that he could purpose, generally guys are pretty apprehensive when it comes to matters of marriage, kids, etc. but obviously he is comfortable with that kind of thing.
