I wish I had ideas, but I am the girl. The guys are the romantics. Have you done a Google search? I am sure there are ideas out there. Something that I have seen in the movie SERENDIPITY that was cute was that the guy got a huge box and then nested several smaller boxes in there until there was just this tiny little ring box. She had to open several boxes to get the prize and then it was quite evident what was happening. It was very sweet. Or I saw on DAMAGES the guy's girl had been out shopping and he had the ring in another shopping bag. She picked it up, knowing it wasn't hers and then looked inside and saw it was a ring box. She knew he had tried to propose. Neither of the above scenarios resulted in a wedding, but they were cute ideas nonetheless. There was a guy on a soap opera who had a scavenger hunt planned for his intended. His name is Shawn Christian, but I am having trouble finding his story right now. I know it was a long thing that took like a day, but ended with a horse-drawn carriage and was very romantic. Link to post Share on other sites

I am the type that gets embarrased with big gestures, but other girls might go crazy for them. Whatever you decide, it needs to be within your character and something from the heart. konfuzd Posted January 25, 2009 Share Posted January 25, 2009 When my ex proposed to me, I came home and he handed me a map of my apartment with the numbers 1-10 written on it. At each point in my place, there was a card where he wrote the top 10 reasons he loved me, I followed the numbers and underneath the #1 card, there was a ring box. As I was reading the card, he got down on one knee, and he had tears in his eyes. Neither of us said anything, I just put the ring on, and that was that. My current bf told me he is not going to do anything romantic when he pops the question, so at least I got one romantic proposal even if it was from the wrong guy. Link to post Share on other sites

I'm trying to think of ideas on what to do but i'm clueless.. I know she'd love an elaboratly romantic propsal but i just don't know how to go about it. Thanks for some ideas though.
