chris250
Many of us have talked about when it's not a good idea to get married. Let's flip the question around for a chance. How do I know when it is a good idea to get married? How do I know if I should marry a certain woman? Is it possible to let the right girl get away? We know it is possible to regret marrying a person but is it also possible to regret not marrying a certain person that you dated in your past? I've run into people who are sorry they got married but I have yet to run into anyone who is sorry that they didn't marry a certain person. I have yet to run into anyone who regrets turning down a marriage proposal. Are there any circumstances when these kind of regrets are valid?
Squirtal
Morning Chris I think a good time to get married is when it feels right. When you have a successful relationship, when you can see yourself being with that person forever. When you have taken off your rose coloured glasses and can see the real person, faults and all and love them for the good and the bad. As to regretting not marrying a person..well if you only feel after the person is gone from your life I guess it was a case of it wasn't right then, and if the moment has passed to rectify it, then it wasn't meant and if it was then you'll cross paths again at some stage. I'm a big believer in fate.
