Author chris250
I've been reading your posts and they're very confusing. You seem to be upset because of Christianity, and then decided to take it out on God rather than live with your own happiness of individualism. No one can force you to be a Christian, and the only guilt you have for anything you're doing is within yourself. I'm not angry at God just because of christians. I get angry at God for many reasons and quite frankly I have every right to take it out on Him. Think of it this way. God does not always answer our prayers the way we want Him to so how could it hurt for me to rail against Him and tell Him to get lost and go screw Himself? If He's not giving my prayers the attention that I want Him to give then obviously it couldn't hurt for me to cuss Him out.
Author chris250
He seems very angry. So what? I get angry because I'm human. Congratulations. You obviously recognize that some people's sins are more overt than others. One of my besetting sins happens to be anger. Maybe that's not your weakness. Some of my weaknesses may be your strengths and vice versa. Everybody has different lust patterns.
boldjack
I've got an idea. Why don't you all this pent up frustration and angst and go to Africa and help people, or go to innercities and use your enormous mental gifts for the good of humanity. I've got it!! The United Nations, then you can whine to your hearts content, and spew out mountains of meaningless drivel, like you're doing now. Maybe you could also develope some "nads' while you're at it. boldjack
Emos are ALWAYS crying for attention. And as long as there is one enabler, they will get it.

Well of course your god won't answer your prayers, because you don't have free will. So it's pointless you praying to him for something, because it obviously wasn't part of his plan for you. Give up praying. Just sit back and take it all on the chin. Or up the profundis. Your god appears to have pre-ordained plans to shaft you.
OneTwo
So Chris, you obviously believe in Heaven. So, you must also believe in Hell as those concepts come from the same doctrine. So, what does it take to get into Hell? I mean, you believe all these evil-dooers are going to Heaven, so I ask again: what does it take to go to Hell, and who is going to Hell? Oh, and by the way, just for the record I don't care what you personally do in this world. Chances are, we will never cross paths and your choices will likely never influence any outcomes in my life. Me? I plan on doing good deeds because it makes me feel better about everything around me. I am selfish like that....

I disagree with your premise that one must believe in an eternal hell in order to believe in an eternal heaven. I don't know where you get this idea from that one belief must necessarily lead to the other. There is no hell for anyone to go to. The hell that's talked about in the bible is referring to the grave. Jesus saved everyone from the grave. Eternal sleep would have been our fate apart from Jesus doing what He did. So I disagree with the premise that hell exists as a place of eternal conscious torment. A loving God would not create such a horrible place nor would He allow for the possibility of anyone to go there especially if He's all knowing. It would not make sense for an all knowing God to create souls that He knows will end up as lost causes in the end. Why would He even bother? It would be better for them to have never existed. That would be like me as a parent bringing children into this world anyway when I already know that they would have no future here. I wouldn't bother to do it if I was all knowing. disgracian
You know the Chicxulub crater in mexico? Theory is, it's the crater that was hit by the meteorite that wiped dinosaurs off the face of the planet. I ask myself - what did they do to p1ss him off....?! They removed prayer from schools and lifted the ban on homosexual marriage. Cheers, D.
disgracian
There's no LS rule against posting the names of ppl who are sending you PM's. It would depend on who those people are. I have also been told point-blank by a mod here that PMs, after having received some threats myself, are none of their business and I was in fact in violation of LS rules by quoting them the contents of those PMs. So I would probably not advise Chris to name names or even try to take this further in any form. Dee_Smith
Jesus said for us to love one another, this is somethig he commanded us to do, right before He went to the cross. Jesus didn ot say to be a good 'christian', He did not say to attend church, simply to love one another as he has loved us all. There will be a lot of nice people along with the religious in hell. Jesus came to save the lost, not the righteous... The religious see themself as righteous... will there be any room for God in their lives if God himself is on the outside and have to knock on the door? It is not sin until the Spirit convicts you of sin and you repent... The Jews in the wilderness missed the concept although the tribe of Levi was zealous... their reward was that God himself was their inheritance. These religious folks will have their reward.. it is when you are true to yourself and to God that like the tribe of Levi, your inheritance is not gifts or blessings but to be called the children of God (Matthew ch.6). RecordProducer
Chris, I have two questions for you: 1. What sins have you committed? Have you ever murdered, raped, kidnapped, molested or beaten up someone? 2. If you believe in heaven, how do you imagine heaven? Just a couple of days ago, a man shot his wife and children. He then killed himself. So now he is in Heaven? He's not. He made a phone call and the area code was not Heaven's.
knaveman
Christians are the most hateful, bigoted, cruel, evil, anti-christ, snobby....etc... people around. I can't wait to go to hell where there are not any Christians. I wish just for once every one else could act like they do and round'em up and throw them in prison camps where they will be tortured and persecuted. This goes against my liberal priciples but I am just so tired of their irrational BS. And it is because of them that so many have been killed throughout the years. Never trust a Christian.. They have forgiveness for what ever they do as long as they have faith in Jesus, in their crazy minds. And that makes being around them a danger to you and yours. Ewww...ignorance and hate. That helps no one. Good job filling my septic system.

elaina
Wow Chris, why are you letting Christians get you all hot and bothered? Lol, sorry it's a bad joke but anyways... I'm a Christian, and believe me, I don't want you to go to hell, unless you are a murderer who is happy that he kills or a rapist without remorse or a child molestor. If so, then yeah I do think God should send you to hell, sorry. If you're not any of the above though then no I don't want you to go to hell, and most Christians don't want you to either!!! Anyways, it doesn't really matter who Christians think should go to hell or shouldn't... we are not the ones in charge of the galaxies (even though we humans do tend to have a huge ego and like to think we are in control of at least the Milky Way.) Science fiction movies are fascinating cause we always dream up aliens who are more advanced in some way than we are. Don't you find that interesting? Anyways, back to topic... Yes thank God that He's the Ultimate Judge. He's the Master Mathematician and knows the equations (the capablities, knowledge, thoughts, actions, words, uniqueness,...) of everybody. He is the Fair, Just, Loving, Merciful, Righteous, and Pure Judge. I am curious why you think the human race is righteous? If the human race is righteous, then why do people exist who hurt others? If the human race is a big happy family, why are there people who are sad, who are crying right now? Why are there people who are in pain because of what other people have said or done to them? Why are their people who are prejudiced towards others? No, I do not think the human race is righteous. I think there are people (both Christian and non-Christian) who are good and who do their best to make good decisions and help people instead of hurting them, that's true, but that doesn't mean that humans are just all righteous. I don't think Christians want to "hang on" to hell. The reason we believe that hell exists is because of some passages in the Bible. Muslims believe that hell exists because of passages in the Quran. Long time ago, Romans and Greeks thought that hell exists because of their stories about gods (which we consider mythology today.) Yeah I think some of the ideas about hell are influenced by the Roman/Greek myths, yet there are some things that I believe are true concerning hell. I do think hell exists and those who disobey God will be punished there, but I do not think it is eternal torture. I think eventually they will be no more, but that hell (the place) is an eternal place. I think that hell can be an eternal place where those who are in it will eventually become no more in existence, but of course I could be wrong. I've never been there naturally and have no proof of any kind, and many Christians would disagree with me in my thinking that people will not be tortured in hell for forever, but that hell is an eternal place. ? Again, I could be wrong. I realize that. I don't think burning alive forever is a solution at all. Some people think there is a purgatory where people are punished for their sins committed on earth and then are brought into Heaven... that is I guess a little more how I lean, but like I said before, I don't know. Of course it doesn't make me feel good at all to believe that anybody goes to hell for any reason, even though yeah if people hurt others really bad, then that does make me angry that they would dare hurt others and I wish of course that nobody hurt anybody. I don't think anybody has the right to take anyone's life, but I realize that killing that person isn't a good solution. I believe God is merciful and if a person truly is sorry and doesn't want to hurt others anymore, truly, that God forgives but that there is a price to pay for stealing the life of another precious human being. All people are precious in God's eyes.
