There are a lot of things in life that I have not accomplished in my life that I needed to or wanted to. Part of the reason is from having OCD and Anxiety, but part of it is just not having the motivation to get these things done. Last month I realized that I have a MAJOR crush on a girl. Once I realized I had this crush, I have really started to change my life. I have started working and studying more to get a good job. I have become more active at my church. I have started writing poetry. I have a license to drive but rarely drive by myself and having this crush has changed this. I have started to take better care of myself and my health. I have become more talkative and sociable. I have found some obstacles to me going out with her though. She is away at college right now, I found out that she has a boyfriend (although I have no idea how serious it is between them), and she is somewhat younger than I am. Even though I realize these obstacles, I still have hope that there MIGHT be a possiblity that I could one day go out with her. This motivation I am getting from this hope is changing my life. I know that I may be setting myself up for a letdown, and I know that in the end we may never go out, but even if we don't go out in the end, I think that my life will have improved drastically. I just needed something in my life to motivate me. This is just something that I wanted to share. Link to post Share on other sites

Chances are that this girl represents more of a symbol; it may not necessarily be HER that is so great; she may rather represent something more, and is only the personification of it.
