why don't people with their shallow thinking minds ever come to realize that head lice does not discriminate who it latches it on to and who it does not?

 

i am so mad at my daughthers boyfriend and mine as well that the kids got head lice from school and now they are both saying that it is from being dirty.

 

honestly these guys no that the kids are not dirty, yet they insist that they get it because they are dirty themselves.

 

how the hell do you deal with narrow minded stupid people like this, please before i strangle them!

seriously, though, they've got to be some kind of dumb to not realize that cooties don't discriminate. That means headlice and pinworms and scabies. Anyone can get them, no matter HOW clean they are, it just takes one exposure and bang! you've got them.

 

some people refuse to be enlightened, and it's useless trying to educate them. Just tell them that the subject is off-limits if they're not willing to be enlightened about the subject.

You don't want to do that. Your hands would get awful tired. There are 'way too many narrowminded stupid people to strangle even if you wiped a few out every day for a few thousand years. Instead, realize that ignorance is their problem and always will be. Teach your kids that people like this must be endured and not to let what they say bother them because they don't know what they're talking about. They might as well learn now; they'll run into these types their whole lives, as will you.

thanks again for the comforting words, i am just so angry at these two men who know we and my kids are not dirty people yet still refuse to be "enlightened", i don't know strangling still seems like a better option

Maybe you could go to http://www.google.com and type in "head lice" and find some simple, easy to understand information about it and print it out and have them read it to learn more about it. It's worth a try.
