kandygirl
It's right in the middle...That's it! To get in shape for my wedding in May, I run 2 miles 3 times a week, & I also do the "8 Minute ABs" workout every other day. What The Heck!? I just can't seem to make it go away. Everything else is wonderful.....Just that.....UUGH! lol Can someone give me some ideas on how to remove it!? Thanks in advance :)
fral945
How's your diet? Likely that's the culprit.
sunshinegirl
Spot reducing doesn't work, one thing that helped me reduce bloating was eliminating carbonated beverages, and drinking flat water instead.
gopher
Cut out refined sugar intake.
Trialbyfire
That little bump is one of the first places our female bodies store excess fat. Drop your caloric intake! No soda pop, junk food or baked goods for awhile. Don't eat that extra portion of pasta, use mayonnaise/butter or even eat Caesar salad. Eat lower carb, low cal and healthy foods. wuggle
Salads (very low protien & fat, eg small amounts of prawn or lean chicken only) , that way your body will 'uptake' the sub-cutaneous fat stored round that area, with modest excercise as well.
clv0116
I like that little bump.
gopher
I like the word "pooch" for that area on a woman
Enema
But if you're not careful a pooch can turn into a Gunt. Nobody likes a gunt.

Everything else is wonderful.....Just that.....UUGH! lol Can someone give me some ideas on how to remove it!? Thanks in advance :) I see alot of women with flat stomachs that have that slight "pudge"....and honestly, I like it!! But you can run all you like, do all the crunches you want, if you don't watch your diet, you won't get a flat stomach. If you think you have fat on your stomach, then 8 minute abs won't do anything but build rock hard abs, but with fat covering them. a 6 pack starts in the kitchen.
blondesmiler
Spanx is the way forward. At the end of the day, yeah dieting for a special occassion and watch what you eat but too cut out things totally and possibly forever, depends whats more important, living or dieting....personally I like the 80/20 rule so I can go out and eat what I want once in awhile. Keep fit is good for you, do it for health more than looks. Women are not meant to have six packs, and we are meant to have some body fat on us, thats just how we are built. I do Weightwatchers, I have a pretty good body, killer legs and bum, my core muscles are very strong, thighs like rocks, nice toned arms, but I still have a little pooch but thats just a part of me. Even two years ago at my lowest weight I still had a small belly. Its just me and how I am built. I am learning to live and be happy with it. I exercise mostly for health and to aid my lower back problems. I eat good food and have some "bad" foods too. Everything in moderation.
LucreziaBorgia
Try reducing your stress levels too. The more stress you are under, the more cortisol your body produces - which in turn triggers your body to store fat in your abdomen.
lino
I think you should run more, 2 miles 3 times a week isn't really that much. Also what is the '8 minute ab workout?' I like the little bump too, on some women it looks really hot! Nobody likes a gunt. Not sure they will know what that is
wierdmunky
If you really really want to lose that, I think you have to do more than 8 minutes of ab workout a day. When I lost weight, I did every kind of crunch, and ab excerises that worked on the core muscles (stabalized crunches, using the workout ball, bench inverted crunches, hanging leg raises..) I also cut out sugar, and saturated fats the most that I could (that only lasted for a month really but after that, I was used to eating a lot less sugar and fat), lots of water and running. I spent maybe an hour at the gym 4-5 times/week. When I first met my bf he noticed how tight my stomach was, and I worked really hard for about 2 months to get to that. (I was within my height weight range before working out though) I was satisfied after a month, but I decided to keep going just to maintain.
citizen67
Let it go! My trainer always says about ab exercies, that they are great for getting your core in shape, underneath the layer of fat. Six pack abs on women look unnatural. But if you really want to be rid of the pooch, cut carbs
blondesmiler
I like the little bump too, on some women it looks really hot! Really? Thats good too know
electric_sheep
Long slow cardio. Possibly a carb reduced diet too. This is what a lot of weight lifters do to eek out the last stubborn bit of fat on their bodies. As someone else mentioned, that is the first place a woman (and many men) start to store fat. You've got to get your body to burn it, somehow. Alternatively, you could celebrate your "pooch". I find them quite sexy, actually, and much prefer a slight pooch to a flat stomach. The key word being "slight", of course.
gopher
Has anyone tried one of those colon cleansing products? I've got around 5 lbs to lose in my stomach, even though with clothes on people think my body looks good.

lovestruck818
I swear by "Billy Blanks Ab Boot Camp!!!" But yes, as previous posters have said, what you eat is very important. It's great that you are working out, but only that alone, wont do the trick. Good luck! Are you excited for the big day?
datura_noir
Try the neoprene belt. Its the waist cincher that attaches with velcro.I wear it whenever, and when I work out. It helps, it relly does.
Peter_pan
I like that little bump. oddly enough i too like that on a women.. how bout anyone else? everyone get your body out lol yeh its diet, id say go on a veg diet for few weeks and do some twisting ab sit ups and crunches
mistresswchildren
Try Body For Life by Bill Phillips. It teaches you a LOT about nutrition and working out. There is such a thing as working out too much! Again, women have different bodies, so you may be stuck with it. I have had two kids, and I'm still not sure that I will ever totally be rid of it. I have however done this program for about three weeks, and have already seen results. Don't focus on the weight, focus on your BMI.

Six pack abs on women look unnatural. But if you really want to be rid of the pooch, cut carbs 6-pack abs are amazing on women...I am trying to get one now. Hardly many women have them, that's why you say they look unnatural...but they are amazing! PS- you need to have 12% BMI to get 6-pack abs. I'm @ 19%...longer way to go than I thought.
