Sweet Babee
Hey! I can't stand this anymore..... There was this guy, whom I was in love with for 5 years, finally I went out with him for 8 months. It was a dream come true for me, but now I think it was a waste of my time. He is 2 years older than me, and treated me like I never existed. He denied EVERYTHING about us being together to his friends. He needed to keep his "cool image". He cheated on me with his best friend, he lied to me and had NO respect for me. Now that we have broken up, I couldnt stand to become friends with him, so I have lost ALL touch with him. Every once in a while I see him, and he always yells out "I LOVE YOU". Hearing these words really gets me emotional. Now I can't even make eye contact wit him, I HATE THIS! I run when I see him. What can I do? I can't move on with my life. He is able to (he is now dating my friend).
GIZMO
How old is this guy?? This guy must know that you care very much for him , and he sounds very immature. The next time you see him, do not pay any attention to him.. He seems like the time of guy who enjoys a good chase.. At the same time, I do not know if this is the tyrpe of guy you would really want to be with... Why would you want someone to treat you like that? How would you ever trust this man?? I know its hard when you see your ex smiling all of the time, and acting like nothing is going on inside of his heart, but keep in mind men are different then woman.. Woman show there emotions on the inside as well as the outside. Men just keep busy and ignore a lot of things. It will be okay, just try and stay busy.. and remember you have feelings to and you deserve respect.. If someone can not give you the respect you give him... Then is he really worth your time????

It sounds to me he did you a huge favor by leaving you. Be happy!!
Sweet Babee
I see things in him that other people dont. I do this with EVERY guy that I am with, that is the only reason I end up with them. During the first few months of our relationship, he treated me like a QUEEN! He did everything for me & when I needed someone to talk to, he was ALWAYS there. Then this happened.... The messages i'm getting are really helpful. Thanks!
iceprincess
Hey, there, sweetie, don't let him get to you!!!! Oh, I can't stress that enough. The last thing that you want to do is let all his little words upset you, because that would mean that you are admitting defeat....stay strong! He YELLS out "I love you!"? That's really childish, you don't want this little boy, you want a real man who will be a gentleman to you and treat you like a real princess. Don't let this loser belittle you, you are a much better person than he is. As for your "friend", I'd drop her like a bomb. Best wishes! iceprincess

danandlea
hey thats not really true, my ex (female) is not bearing any emotions towards me and it is i that seems to be doing the chasing, she left me and didnt really tell me why, i keep contact every now and then but she just says move on , i have, but i cannot accept this, after 3 years of love she claims to have stopped. i know deep down she may care for me but is fighting it as much as possible. back to my point, women dont always show their emotions inside and out, and men dont always keep it bottled up. hang in there and follow your heart, lifes too short to waste, if you loved him then maybe its worth trying again??? give it a go to settle yourself, if it turns out to be then you will get through it, but if not you can rest asure that you trully tried? dan
HeatMos
Next time he yells out "I love you" answer him back with a "f*ck off!" Show him you don't give a sh*t. Eventually he'll get the hint.
Sweet Babee
Dan, sorry about what happened with u and ur ex! I know how it must feel when ur partner just up and leaves without a reason. I am also the one that did the chasing for a while, but he moved on, and I didn't. I really needed to, and that's what he kept telling me as well. Its hard to believe after all that time spent loving each other, one gets up and leaves and claims they don't love you any more. To this day, I still can't understand that! I also agree that guys don't keep their emotions bottled in and girls don't always show emotions in and out. I did love him to death and would have done anything for him, but giving it another shot, I don't think I could put myself through it again. All the cheating, lying & disrespect, I wouldn't be able to go through that again. When he yells things out to me, I don't bother paying ANY attention to him, just ignore him and move on!
