In the past week, I've seen a good number of yummy guys out and about. Of course most are with girls. Yes: I used "yummy" to describe the male sex. Isolde descends to even lower depths. People think I'm superficial--it just so happens that I have an eye for traditionally handsome men. It doesn't mean that I don't sometimes find myself attracted to men that are not handsome. There is a heavy Spanish genetic influence in the PI, which is, to sound even more superficial if possible, a fantastic mix. You are right, they are LESS thin than other Asians but for me that gene pool is a really nice compromise between the two extremes. In all fairness I'm OK with a cute chubby wife in a few decades. Oh, filipino women . They truly are the best of both worlds because they're extremely tiny/small framed, but also have some curves . Yes, on average they're not as thin as other asian women, but in a good way . add to that strong family orientation and it's a no-brainer for guys . Link to post Share on other sites

I travel a lot for work( I've been to 44 states), so I do a lot of people watching and in all my travel, I have only seen a few couples where the guy was good looking and the woman wasn't. I've seen many, many more where the reverse was true. Since I am a straight guy, I'm not really looking to see good looking guys, but they do stand out when you see them, because they are pretty rare. I see tons of hot women though....single or otherwise. In my healthclub locker room, I see WAY more naked men then I care to see, and it's sad how few guys take care of themselves. I see a lot of guys who are extremely overweight with huge bellies...very few guys who are in great shape, especially 40 years and up. PS. I am extremely average looking myself... Yeah you live in Illinois as do I. Its nice to be ugly here, because most people are I lived in Florida for many years and everyone was like from some genetic super-race except for the old people. Sarcasm or no sarcasm, I just realized I'm doing the exact same thing , not because it's true, but because I kinda believe it, at least on some sort of more abstract, holistic level . My girlfriend just told me I look like a mafia boss, so I'm in 7th heaven . (The worst she could have had in mind are the old dudes in "Casino", and IMO they were plenty hott anyway .) Women have to compete with many other attractive women, and men seem to place a high value on physical attractiveness of females, so us ladies almost have to give into that pressure to beutify if we are on the dating scene. Its funny how many women let themselves go once they are married (and guys too, for that matter!) And also, for men who do put a lot of effort into working out and wardrobe, I tend not to be attracted to those types. I guess I perceive them as vain. And from experience, the better looking the man, the more he wants to "keep his options open" I cant win! Like the OP, I just want someone who is attractive to me...doesnt matter if the rest of the world thinks he got hit with the ugly stick Link to post Share on other sites
