Neither sex is overall more attractive than the other. Qualitatively beauty is different between the two sexes. Even absent makeup and other modifications, I find that masculine beauty is more earthy and constant, while feminine beauty is more evocative of change and abstract potentials.

I like to admire aesthetically pleasing things. I like to sleep with men.

Have you seen some couples out there? Most women would still rather be w/ a so so looking guy that is nice and not fat as opposed to a woman. I just don't think going back to the days where women were forced to marry guys they weren't attracted to is a good idea. Feminism had some bad effects but let's face it, if a woman's not attracted to you I dont think you would want her to pretend she liked you. A minority of women that go just for $ or looks in a monomaniacal way may exist, but they are not many.

Women may have power on the first or second date but you have the power to decide whether you want to pursue a relationship. Stop being so miserable and realize that even if you're not an Adonis, plenty of women would be attracted to you. I'm just abnormally visual for a woman, that's why I started this thread, but I've liked a few weird looking guys in my time and let me tell you, those crushes were pretty damn intense.

I've also heard that "when men REALLY fall in love, they fall in love harder than women." Conventional wisdom goes both ways.

If a woman is in the habit of letting the man who loves her have her, he will get pretty addicted to her. I suspect it's probably some sort of built in thing that helped ensure progeny survived.
