Case Of Love Bipolar

My boyfriend proposed to me two months ago, and I said yes. He has changed his mind about it a few times since he proposed, but always came back to the conclusion that he wanted to marry me.

Then out of the blue he said he doesn't feel like he is ready to get married because we started out our relationship in sin (we are both Christians and have had premarital sex) and that he wants me to move out of our apartment so we can start courting again and do things right. I am angry and confused.

I am also a little happy because in doing this he is honoring me, there is nothing wrong in and of itself of him wanting to love me in a more Godlike and pure way.

I have all these terrible feelings of resentment in my heart for this and I really need some advice or imput, I would really appreciate some wisdom right now.:o

Go to your pastor together and run this scenario by him or her. I personally think your BF has something else going on.

I'll give you an opinion as a Catholic who was a virgin until he was 35. Once you have sex with a woman and you moved in together as a couple, the relationship does not go backwards in any healthy way. It just doesn't. You're entirely correct in your annoyance and resentment here. Get some counseling and/or find another man and wait until you're married to move in with him .
