Honest2Bob
If you use it right--HECK yeah it works. I have one and I did the lunges like they wanted me to and I could barely walk up the stairs to my apt the next day. The push ups they offer is also really good. I really like the Wii fit board. You might also like DDR2 for the Wii. I recently bought it and I can barely move my arms or back today. Swinging in mid-air is worst than actually punching something. jerbear
In addition to the Fit, you'll have to use it everyday and have the correct diet too.

blondesmiler
Hi...I don't have one myself however I use the Weightwatchers UK forum and they do rave about Wii Fit on there (I attach a couple of the links, hope they work). I think its great, especially if you are doing little or no exercise and want something a bit more entertaining than hitting the gym. I want to get it soon, as it does sound really good and fun. Also I have just seen on the Gadget show that the Wii Jog is coming out at the end of March, basically you have to jog to make the character in the game move. http://www.weightwatchers.co.uk/community/mbd/post.aspx?page_size=25&rownum=10&threadpage_no=1&sincedate=08%2f03%2f2009+00%3a00%3a00&thread_id=30817061&board_id=540&forum_id=1&thread_name=Wii+fits+-+are+they+any+good+for+weight+loss+%3f&mod_no=&daterange=2days&viewchange=OPENDATEDESC http://www.weightwatchers.co.uk/community/mbd/post.aspx?page_size=25&rownum=40&threadpage_no=2&sincedate=08%2f03%2f2009+00%3a00%3a00&thread_id=30804761&board_id=540&forum_id=1&thread_name=Wii+Fit+vs.+Wii+Personal+Trainer+-+opinions+please&mod_no=&daterange=2days&viewchange=OPENDATEDESC

The Blue Pill
Any activity is better than no activity. The wii can get you moving and can be beneficial if you do nothing else. However, the wii is not a replacement for a real workout. You don't need a wii to workout: jogging, jumping jacks, pushups, whatever, are all FREE.
Quinch
I've been thinking that next time I'm in a job (hopefully not too long) I might buy a Wii as a hassle-free alternative to signing up for a 12 month direct debit at the local gym.
MichaelKEH
LoL ya any excersise is better than none; if just for the cadio benefit!! Dont expect to get toned or to put on any muscle, even shedding weight is probably more than you can reasonable expect without a good diet. But if it improves your cardiovascular capacity even a little then it drops your risk of heart attack / stroke by quite a bit. Not to mention that cardio is of #1 importance in Love-Making
