oasis_02 Posted March 17, 2009 Share Posted March 17, 2009 I know its normal in a LDR to feel the urge to take a spontaneous trip out to see their SO, but is it normal to actually do it? My college schedule allows me the time, and money is tight but I might be able to...but he is actually suppose to come down here in about 3 weeks. I've been having a bad week and feeling less motivated. (I'm planning on going to nursing school and even the prerequsites to even get accepted into nursing school are killing me!) And another reason for wanting to take a spontaneous trip, I have to admit, is partly because I want to excercise my ability to actually do it. I turned 18 six months ago and my parents still havn't adjusted to the fact that they wont be able to chaperone me. I'm the only girl in my family and I understand the reason why they always believe there should be supervision, but I'm not a little girl anymore... (Btw, it wouldn't be the first time I meet him, last time one of my parents came along) Should I just be patient and wait a few weeks? We havn't seen eachother in 6 months and I'm missing him more than ever this month. It's an 8 hour plane ride/2 hour bus ride/and a 3 hour train ride.
