Kamille
Guys and gals, what are effective flirting techniques? You know, little things that one can do to let someone know they're interested, using simple body cues other than eye contact and smiling? What are you tricks? What have you tried and what has worked on you? Men - what could a woman do to increase your level of interest to the point where you would want to approach her, and once you approach her, would like to ask her out? purgatori
I don't believe in flirting. For myself, I don't consider that I have anything to flirt *with*, and so any attempt is going to appear ludicrous. I also find flirting from others to be off-putting, as it seems disingenuous in some way. If a girl is real, that's what attracts me.
Disillusioned
Just being white and being a giant is enough to get Asian women to hit on me. Unfortunately, I'm just not into Asian women.

Being sincere and being yourself. Let me ask you this... What do you do when you just know you want to kiss someone? How do you get from that moment of "She's cute" to actually holding her in your arms?

Given that I've never done either of those things, I couldn't tell you. When I know that I really want to kiss someone, I just experience sadness knowing that it can't/won't happen. Sorry that I can't answer your question.

Well - if that is you in your avatar: 1) give yourself a chance - you're still very young 2) I'm sure at least a few girls find you unbearably cute in that aloof kind of way. It'll happen. Yes, that's me, but I'm older than I probably look (I'm 27) Thanks though, if a girl that I liked found me "unbearably cute", it'd certainly make things a lot easier I mean, girls have flirted with me, which, as I said, I find somewhat off-putting, but even to the extent that I could interpret it as a positive sign, e.g. "perhaps she's interested in me", I still tend to interpret it negatively, even to a somewhat paranoid extent "she must be setting me up to humiliate me or something, and/or it's a joke or dare that her friends have put her up to." But anyway, don't want to hijack your thread

Of course girls want to flirt with you: you're goodlooking!
