Is he for real or just playing games?

I can't get this guy out of my head! Any advice or insight much appreciated.

 

I met him ages ago in August, at a sports fair where he encouraged me to join one of the clubs. I said yes to be polite but wasn't really expecting to join. Anyway he gave me his Facebook, I added him and he let me know when the next social was. But I had prior engagements so I didn't go, and promptly forgot about the club and him.

 

Fast forward to a few months ago, on a night out, and at the bar this guy comes up to me and says 'Hey, are you [my name]?' And I realise it's him, we have a little chat. When I get home I look through a few of his Facebook photos and realise that he's actually really cute, and wondered why I hadn't thought so before.

 

Funnily enough I bump into him again on a night out the next week, and this time he's a lot more flirty, putting his arm around my waist, being with me the whole night, asking whether I wanted to go somewhere more quiet (but I declined). And I begin to fancy him a bit so I decide to go to the next club social.

 

He's there, and this time we pretty much spend the whole night together, chatting and getting more wasted as the night wears on. We eventually end up going back to his, and even though we're both on his bed we don't have sex or anything (I don't want a one night stand and it's evident neither does he as he doesn't initiate anything). We just have a lovely kiss and fall asleep in each other's arms. The next morning we just cuddle in bed and he's really affectionate; holding me close and kissing my head, caressing my belly and hips, holding my hands and warming them up etc...but when we actually get up we're very amicable and friendly, and end up parting with a hug and a peck on the cheek. At this point I have no idea where we stand, and there's no text from him, even though he invites me to a house party the next week so it's evident he wants to see me again.

 

I turn up to the party and we chat and dance together for a bit. I tell him that I've lost my phone and he says 'Oh, so you've got a new number?' and I reply that I gave him the number of my old phone which I still have, and add 'it's not like you're gonna contact me anyway, eh?' hinting that he hasn't. And confusingly he says 'I figured you weren't the type of girl who wants contacting'. Unfortunately because I was drunk I can't remember my response to this or any explanation. Anyway nothing much happens between us that night; he doesn't stay with me much. Admittedly I chat with and am very friendly with his friends at the party...but still, we didn't even have a proper chat or anything. We part with a hug, and as he's hugging me he kisses me on the head! Very strange for just a friend, don't you think?

 

So I'm wondering: Do you think he still likes me? Or is he just playing games? Or did he just want sex before, which I didn't give him, and now he's just wanting to be friends? And if he does still like me, why on earth hasn't he texted/Facebooked me? He has my number, I don't have his...

 

I'm just wondering what you think. I can't get him outta my mind
