The Collector
To make a change from the usual, let's just clear the air on what we don't like about our own 'team.' Veiled attacks on the other side, like 'my gender is too naive and trusting, and falls for the other sexes evil tricks' will be tolerated, but noted as the sideswipes they are. Complaints can be relationship orientated, cultural, genetic or just anything that bugs you for no real reason. I'll go first. Men like Sport(s). Apart from the noble art of Women's Tennis, sport is boring as hell. Modern man is too often afraid to be masculine. I don't think there was a golden age of machismo, and there have always been wet drippy men, but come on guys, don't be ashamed of your backbone or your cock. Men are often entirely rubbish at dressing well, grooming themselves, and generally presenting themselves to the opposite sex as an attractive package. Women piss all over men in this department. Men are probably more homophobic than women. Not cool. Guns, War, Violence and stuff. Mostly us. We have a lot of testosterone to process, and you women often cause the trouble or encourage us to break each other's faces, but that's not an excuse. We should be more civilized more often. Tact. Sometimes it's a good thing. Not men's strong point. Ok, sometimes we are lost but don't ask for directions. That's all I got right now. Over to you.
2sure
Women thrive on perceived slights. That is the root of nearly all of our issues.
clv0116
Fathers who abandoned their paternal responsibilities in the last few decades are a big cause of men today who don't understand how to act like a man. Whiny crybaby drama queens who cringe at dissent and fear a little adversity. Gads. It's no wonder so many women can't find Mr Right, he's disguised as Ms Wrong half the time. "Can't? There' no such thing as can't boy! Get in there and do it!" - Pappa 116, circa 1975 "You don't know what to do? Well nothing is wrong for sure, so do something and do it now, even if it's wrong!" - Pappa 116, circa 1978
2sure
Some women consider themselves "one of the guys" . No one else sees them this way.
EnigmasMuse
Now I'm not generalizing here, 'cause we are NOT all the same, but one thing I can't STAND about some women is when they play the helpless female routine. ICK! Like we're all stupid bimbos, or have to act like one. I mean, there really ARE some helpless people, but you can tell an act when you see one. Or then there are the women who always HAVE to look picture perfect at all costs like this gal who was out with her family inner tubing down a river. Her husband and son started having a little splashing fight and, when they tried to include her, she went ballistic 'cause her hair might get wet. You're on a river for gawd's sake! I like "real" much better. Too funny, but true and I agree! Women who play the victim role all the time. and they think its all about them! I mean it could be said for some men too, but more so women I think. I had a friend, well, ex-friend that was like this.....it was all about woe is me pity party on every single thing in her life. Its was all about what others did, not what she might have done herself etc. I say sometimes you just need to build a bridge and get over it! Its not all about you!
2sure
Women feel that the actions of their children/families are direction reflections of themselves. We take it VERY personally
gopher
Men who are always looking for or talking about sex when they are married or in a relationship, especially when they have a great catch already. Guys who are harda**es...espcially in sports, like "dude neither of us is playing in the NBA, you can quit hacking me every time down the court" Guys who bash women... Guys who only want to talk about sports or something equally shallow....boring!
Woggle
Men who have checked their balls at the door and feel that their entire purpose in life is pleasing and impressing women. I am starting to feel that a big cause of men's current predicament in society is our refusal to grow a backbone and stand up for ourselves. We won't play hardball with a woman that wrongs us. Men who think that gay bashing makes them a real man. Gay people have no effect whatsoever on your life so why do you care? Men who reject anything considered intellectual, or artsy and think that real men only watch sports and drink beer all day. These men think they are matcho but cower in fear when a woman gives a cross look at them.

How did I know you'd find a way of turning it into an indirect woman bash? Will you never let it up?
burning 4 revenge
Men who wear grizzly beards and mustaches Guys who dont groom their ear and nose hair and various other hairs I think Collector kind of touched on that already Part of this is cultural. Ive noticed Italian-American guys and Latin-American guys are better at this than a lot of anglos. Black guys are too So white guys with beards, clean it up a little... anne1707
Women who try to push the rights of women, who say they are all for women, that looks, jobs, etc are not the issue, that we all have our own choices to make..... But then somehow drop in to the conversation how perfect their life is, how successful their career is, how wonderful their man is, how attractive they are, how slim they are, how they have no cellulite, how basically they are perfect without never actually quite saying that particular word. Crestfallen_KH
The innate competiveness with women. Women will throw one another under the bus over just about anything. I've been wronged, lied to, manipulated, put down and abused by way more individuals of my gender than men. It seems as if some women just can't WAIT to deliver bad news or put down a "friend" in some poor and misguided attempt to make themselves feel and look better. Guys seem to stand up for each other or stick together more; consequently, most of my best friends have been men. Also, women are often more strong than they act.

shadowplay
A lot of these aren't really gender specific: Women who are gossipy or back-stabbing. Women who spend all their time talking with their friends about mutual friends. Not sure if this is an age-related thing, but I've noticed a lot of young women do this and it is INCREDIBLY BORING. Women who rarely reflect on the world outside their immediate bubble, who have no curiosity in things that don't directly affect them. Women who are phony, who put on a facade of niceness only to bite you in the ass when you turn around. Women who are constantly flirting with men in an obnoxious, in-your-face manner. Smart women who do well in school/in their professions but have no intellectual curiosity outside the classroom/workplace. Narcissistic women who emote freely during sappy movies but have difficulty in their real lives feeling deep empathy for another human being. Women who imitate whatever people around them are doing in a misguided attempt to fit in, who don't have a strong sense of themselves.

Trialbyfire
Okay, I'm breaking the confines of this thread and removing gender. Incessant baiters, male or female, who aren't in the least bit amusing. It's incredibly petty.
