Brady_to_Moss
I am 20. 6'0. 160. I have been weight training for about 4 weeks now 3-4 times a day. I see improvement but not as much as i would have like to seen. I try and eat 120 grams of protein a day. Is this a good ammount?
Jaytb
3-4 times a day? I hope you mean each week, 3-4 times a day is way to much and won't help you gain muscle, your body needs rest in between workouts to rebuild itself. Anyways, I believe 120 grams would be plenty. I believe for bodybuilding you should eat between .5 and .8 grams of protein per pound of body weight, which comes out to 128 grams max for your weight. So I'd say you're covered. bean1
I assume you meant 3-4x per week as well. I'm 5'4, 117-119lbs, female, and I eat about 150 grams.
mark982
what are your goals? have to tell us alittle more.
FleshNBones
Nervousystem improvements take 1-2 weeks. Muscle improvements take 8-12 weeks. Make sure you are getting enough sleep. At least 8 hours a night. Muscles are rebuilt in your sleep. Significant changes take months if not years. Too much protein is no good because your metabolism will become less efficient when dealing with it which will force you to require more.
