Abby
I am starting a new job Tues. that is very fast paced and involves doing sort. I have never done this type of work before and I am so nervous about not being quick enough and screwing up. I was told that the leads and supervisors will come to my work station to time me. Does anyone have any suggestions to help ease my fears?
dvda
Stop worrying about it. If you were hired for the position, someone obviously thought you were qualified and would do a good job. It may take a few days to get into the swing of the new routine, but you'll eventually get to where it's all pretty routine and you'll look back and wonder why you ever worried. Jamie31
I agree. I know how stressful starting a new job can be. I hate starting new jobs - and I have been through a bunch!! But just try to relax. They won't expect you to be a pro the first day. They will understand that you are new and they won't be so hard on you. Just do the best you can...that's really all you can do.
