Several family members have had cancer, get tested and know for sure, TRY to not worry until you have exact results (hard to do i know). if you do find a support group asap, get treated and find that silver lining. i will say a prayer for you, best of luck!!!

Not knowing and waiting is tough..Try to keep busy and not let your mind go to the worst case senario. I know, easier said than done.. The power of positive thought is very strong so if/when you find yourself slipping into a bad frame of mind, call a friend, go see a funny movie to take your mind off of everything..

Hang in there and I'M passing along positive thoughts for you!

Gosh, I'm sorry to hear your going through this. But do keep in mind that you don't know the results yet.. so try not to worry even though I know that's tough. I'll say a prayer for you. Keep your chin up and hang in there. Hugs.

as scary as this is, the best case scenario is when it's caught early, because your options are much greater than you'd expect. As is the possibility of licking this disease.

so ... tell yourself that you're not going to worry until it's time to worry, otherwise you're going to make yourself miserable.

hugs,

q

Hearing the word Cancer is one of the scariest thing in the world. Don't worry, the results aren't out yet, so just prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

Trust me, it is the not knowing that is worse. Once you know either way a strange calm descends after the initial shock, and your brain goes into survival mode with a healthy dose of denial so that you will keep fighting regardless of what the outcome is likely to be.

I've been there, it isn't fun. I've had cervical cancer twice, breast cancer once, and just recently sweated it through what looked like chemo-induced leukemia from the BC treatments. Every time, I was panicked and when I got the results it was time to get to the business of recovery.

If it turns out positive, your medical team (and trust me - you'll have a team of physicians working for you.)
