I have taken girls out on dates, and I have several female friends that I see regularly, but never a girlfriend. I am not shy nor do I live under a rock. I've got a lot to look forward to and I am enjoying life. The problem is that I haven't met any girls that are able to hold a long term relationship, which is what I want. The girls I took out on dates have either moved far away, aren't looking for a boyfriend, or was a total psycho (I met a girl once that had to have me approved by her closest male friend that was a street gang member; I ran far far away and don't regret it!!) I am not looking for a girl that is drop dead gorgeous or that has everything in the world. I am looking for a modest, normal girl that has common sense and prudence and is cool to spend time with. Someone that I can cry to and she'd listen and care, because I know I'd do the same exact thing for her. Being 19, though, I doubt I will meet a girl like that for several years. It seems like 18-22 year old girls are more interested in partying, having a jerk boyfriend, and acting like being young is their excuse to neglect the future. So I just stay busy with friends and working on obtaining my dream career and hoping such a girl comes along the way... Link to post Share on other sites

In the last 20 years, I've always been ready for a serious relationship, but all the women I met, just wanted to play games.
