carhill
Well, would you really want another kind of man? Think about that. Experience has taught me "no", but yet it doesn't deter me.
Jersey Shortie
Do I want a man that thinks about himself first and railroads over me and my feelings to get that? Ummm no Carhill. And if that's what experience has taught me, maybe it is more the way you preceive things then the way they really are.
carhill
Perception is personal reality. It will come to you eventually. Accepting another's perception is part of a healthy LTR and relationships in general. I accept that your perception is different, on a lot of levels. I value and choose as friends men who differ markedly from the perspective you seem to think "all men" seem to have; men who do value women and prioritize them. I'm spending time with one right now. soserious1
What used to kill me is going out for an expensive evening, I'd paid for professional sporting event, play or concert tickets, a great meal etc, he sits there and finds at least one woman to ogle to the point that he stops speaking or responding in conversation at least once. The night then becomes strained and weird, the entire evening ruined from my perspective.
Jersey Shortie
I don't know why you were always paying for such lavicous things anyway and letting him get away with that. JS, I make a good living, have always been generous with everybody. I was the bread winner during my marriage. I wasn't going to sit around and insist on cheap sandwiches in the park just because only 1 of us was working. As far as "getting away with it" goes, over time I just started to avoid going anyplace with him whenever I could and ultimately divorced him.

Now he's on the phone with one of our friends from Cali and his wife is fixing us lunch No tornados yet. Looks like the trailer is going to stay on the ground today
