Maybe try light healthy snacks instead just cause you eat at night doesn't always mean it has to be a neg thing. Keep some fruits near by I'm starting to snack on bananas when I want something sweet or a nice light yogurt.

Ruby Slippers
Are you eating enough for breakfast and lunch to prevent hunger from taking over at night? Are you eating well-balanced meals that incorporate protein, carbs, and fruits or vegetables? Eating all three in each meal keeps your body busy processing the food longer, giving you a feeling of fullness and satiety. Do not allow yourself to eat after a certain time -- 8:00 pm, or whenever. Give yourself four hours or more to digest your dinner before bedtime. Then you will wake up hungry and do more eating in the morning, giving your body energy throughout the day and the time to burn it off. If you need a snack, have a piece of fruit, handful of carrots, bowl of popcorn -- something low-cal and filling. Combining two of the food categories (protein, carbs, and fruits/vegetables) in one snack will keep you fuller longer. So, some yogurt with cereal sprinkled on top, a small sandwich with whole-grain bread and turkey, or something like that, is better than something high-cal, like chips or junk food. Also, how about herbal tea with honey? I love decaf chai with honey and a splash of milk. Very few calories, but it's the same taste you'd get from a big piece of pumpkin pie. Yummy. MissConduct
I get that sometimes when I am up late I get really snacky and I crave sweet stuff or stuff that I know I don't need late at night. I found a great snack that does the trick for me. I usually keep celery in the fridge I get a stick of celery and measure out one teaspoon of peanut butter and spread it along the celery. The peanut butter satisfies my craving for something decadent, it seems to lift my insulin levels and the chewing on a whole stick of celery satisfies the oral fixation of actually "munching". It is really low cal and it hits the spot. Also, for weight maintenance if you do weight training don't forget that your muscles are burning calories when you train them, hours well after your workout. I would not recommend a big mac but a little snack like I suggested is easily burned when you are working out at night. Also, how about herbal tea with honey? I love decaf chai with honey and a splash of milk. Very few calories, but it's the same taste you'd get from a big piece of pumpkin pie. Yummy. Yummy! That does sounds good, must try.
