I am trying to accomplish a lot of good stuff right now. I have five major goals, relating to my business/income/finances, creative life, health and fitness, and so on. I will get in a mode where I am totally fixated on one of these goals for a few weeks, and then I lose steam and start to slack in that area.

How do you STICK TO the stuff you want to accomplish? I know I can accomplish a lot, but I am not always that great at sticking with a plan day in and day out.

A friend and I told each other about our goals, and we are checking in to keep the accountability going, but we are usually pretty easy on each other. I also hired one of my clients to do business coaching for me. He is really pushing me, and that is helping.

Maybe I am trying to do too much at once? I think I can do it all if I just get more organized or committed or something. But I have to admit that I do have very high expectations for myself.

Any suggestions?

Hi, it sounds to me that you are putting far too much pressure on yourself to achieve your goals. Doing so many things at once will just leave you too stressed and thats maybe why your not sticking to it for long. I think maybe its just too much for you to do all this at once. Why dont you just do one at a time and see how you get on with that? That way all your energy is on one thing and you can put all your effort into that instead of trying to do so many things. I think this is maybe why your finding it too hard to stick to. Slow down and take it one at a time, or maybe two things at a time?? Five things is way too much, its too much pressure on yourself. Dont beat yourself up that your finding it hard to do all these things at once, even if you have high expectations. Your only human and its far too much pressure, far too many things going on at once. Just take one thing ( or two things ) at a time. Hope this helps x

Yeah, I think you are right. I am striving for balance. The problem is if everything is in balance, I am only doing OK at everything. And I want to be doing great at everything. That's not how it works, I guess!

Probably the lesson in all this is to take it easy on myself. Thanks. :)
