Hey guys, I'm new to this forum! I just joined, and I'm very excited to get to know you.

I've been in a LDR for over 9 months now. He's in Toronto, Canada and I'm in Chicago. We met over the internet, actually through an ex of mine. We hit it off, met 3 times now, 4th coming in July :)

This is my first LDR, but I'm very glad I'm in it. Every other relationship I've been in, I believe I took them for granted. I was with them all the time, and if I had to go a day without seeing him, I'd start crying and be super depressed. This LDR has taught me that even if you're not physically close to someone, that doesn't mean he doesn't care. That doesn't mean your relationship is weak. I feel like I'm closer to my current boyfriend now (Michael) than I ever was to previous boyfriends.

Sometimes it can be hard, but I hope I can give out some solid advise and if I ever need some myself, I trust that you guys can help me out :)

Glad to see you have a healthy relationship. Being in a LDR is kinda hard for me. I do miss being with her. Communication is the key so keep that and you are good.

Also, I see that you posted on my other subject so i thought i posted here and *wave* at ya since you are new lol.

Mine is named Michael too! Hope your 4th visit goes well! I find I'm probably clingier in an LDR than I am in-person :$ 9 months, though. That's inspiring :)
