Interesting bedtime behavior

So this friend of mine that I have put out of my head calls me last night and invites me over for dinner (same one i have spoken of here in the past). I couldn't go for dinner because I was watching a game with friends. Anyway, that game got outa hand, and she kept texting me to visit her after the game. I show up, and she has been drinking wine by herself, cooked the dinner anyway by herself, etc. Long story short, we watch some old home videos of her's and we both go to bed... in the same bed. I tried to leave, but she insisted I stay... threw a pillow on the bed next to her for me, and that was it. We have established what we are... just friends, but there was a time when we both wanted more. It just never happened. So anyway, I fall asleep briefly and wake up to her with her legs wrapped around me and one hand in my pants... seriously. I tried calling her name, but I'm not sure if she was having a good dream or what, but she didn't answer. She was sleeping, or so I thought. So, I took her other hand, and sure enough... she must have been semi-awake because she started holding my hand and playing with my fingers, rubbing my arm, etc. But damnit she still isn't fully awake by my estimation. So, I decide that instead of acting upon something that she probably doesn't even realize that she is doing, I attempt to go back to sleep. This half-asleep action continues until both of our arms are up underneath eachother's clothes. I mean, wtf? She eventually starts touching herself "down there", but I swear to you, this girl is asleep. We were both dead tired, but hell... have any of you had an experience like this? We've decided to be friends, but things like this could really confuse the situation. I am thinking of telling her that I woke up with her hand in my pants to see what she says. I am betting that she probably won't even remember. But I'd like to see her reaction. Should I?

So I tell her today that I woke up with her hand in my pants... we both got a good laugh and she claimed not to remember. I told her that I'll be sleeping over more often. Maybe she was a bit embarrased that I brought it up. Time will tell with all of this. I've slept over there before, and she does always end up wrapped around me, but nothing quite like this... believe me. We'll see what happens when I bring it up in person at the right time.

So this saga continues, and I'm really starting to wonder about this girl. We went fishing together and stayed at my camp. As I've said before, we are just friends. I have been seeing other women, and she knows this. She even wanted to know if I had slept with this one girl, which I have. That is my business, but she wanted to know... so as friends, I told her. She then tells me that she met with her ex to give back some clothes, and she said he asked to hang out with her again. I just told her that if that would make her happy, she should do it. She swore that she wouldn't. I personally think she will. But I have remained friends with her because we really have become very close.

 

Tonight, she threw me for a loop. She has some guy friends of her's in town from her college days. So, spparently she wanted me to meet them. I had not time to do so. On top of the fact that she and I went fishing together Saturday... I took some more frends fishing this morning, which all adds up to one thing... exhaustion from waking up so early, sunburn, etc... just a full weekend. But she still wants me to meet this guy. I'm just too tired to head out to a bar and meet this person... it really is as simple as that. I am about to share some texts she sent me tonight. Keep in mind that 1) I was with other friends, and 2) I have met a few of her guy friends from college before, and it was fine. Here goes... changed names and places for privacy

Her: "We are at X Bar... u should come out and actually meet some of my college friends"

Me: "Ah I'm eating with some friends right now"

Her: "Why do u have such an aversion to meeting my guy friends? If my girlfriends are here ur fine... it's cool"

Me: "Huh? Seriously we are eating. I have no aversions to meeting ur guy friends. Met em in (her college town) and (our current city) before. I'm just tired"

Her: "Okay, well here's my thought process... ur one of my best friends. It's rare that my past comes to (our current city)... but it's cool... I'm drinking playing pool catching up. There is a difference between my friends here and my old friends"

Me: "I've met ur friends from both places. Sure everybody is different. Ur one of my best friends too, but I'm really just tired... that's all :-)"

Her: "Okay... whatever it doesn't matter. No time for this"

Me: "Ok but ur a bit out of line with this stuff. I honestly have no clue what u are talking about. Have a good night"

Her: "Wtf... u shouldn't be giving me attitude. Seriously no time... have a good nite. I'll talk to u in a few wks when I get back from (X state)" (btw she doesn't leave for a week)

Me: Don't bother. U attacked me for no reason at all. Read ur texts tomorrow while you are sober. I was eating with friends and i went home because I am freakin tired"

She sounds like she was mad because you wouldn't drop everything and run to her. I wonder if she will take your advice and re-read things when she is sober.

 

Seriously, for you sanity I'd cut this girl off. All she is doing is driving you insane. Friends aren't supposed to do that.
