justAnothaGuy Posted October 20, 2003 Share Posted October 20, 2003 hi... ok. i feel stupid doing this, but o well. Well, my ex. wanted me to go to homecoming with her and i did. I knew i had to dance but i went anyway, just to see her again. Usually i couldnt talk to her or to any girl or any1 i didnt know. Well, one of teh reasons we broke up is bcuz of the awkwardness between us. But for some reason, i could finally be comfortable around her. I even told her my dumb jokes. But inevitably, we had to dance... cuz her friends made us. so it was the last dance of homecoming and it happened to be a slow song. So she um... she well u know, did those slow dance moves. But being the wuss that i am, i froze and the awkwardness came back and she ran away. I stood there embarassed. Man, wut i dont get is how all of her friends and every1 else there are able to do any of that relationship stuff. Link to post Share on other sites

If you can't be yourself, don't even try. It's hard to explain, but I thought the exact same way you did until I met my current girlfriend. I could easily be myself around her, which is hard for me, because I get nervous easily. But with her it was easy- that's how I knew we were going to become something.
