webmuse
I read all these stories that are full of texting, emailing & instant messaging a relationship into the dirt. I remember a time when a couple actually had to talk to each other.
greatdad
All I have to say is AMEN to that! Real communication is still face to face, in my opinion. Text is for light hearted conversations.

a4a
I remember when you used to have to rent porn on beta tapes...... that made it more exciting because you had to go into the back of the store with the curtain over the entrance to pick out your date.
White Flower
I remember when you used to have to rent porn on beta tapes...... that made it more exciting because you had to go into the back of the store with the curtain over the entrance to pick out your date. I'm sure that made it even more taboo.
Nuala83
Oh man I'm with you there webmuse! There was a time when once you'd broken up with someone you were cut off. The worst thing you had to deal with was the longing for them to call. Now you can know where someone is, who they're with, what time they went out to wherever they are with whoever they're with because they put it all on bloody twitter!!! And the poor dumpee who's hurt and desperate checks it and prolongs their pain! Not intentionally but it's too much to resist. It's turned us into a nation of stalkers. Sometimes if I'm on messenger and someone else is on I get an angry message from them saying "hellooo why are you ignoring me?". God damn it I'm not ignoring them I'm only online to check my emails!
