Bells
This is interesting. There's this woman I have known for some time that attends some of our events through facebook, Facebook now has the ability for people to set up events through their website so people from their friends list can attend. I have known her for a while (as well as a few other single friends) Majority of the people in our group are single/unattached. This woman is very attractive (sometimes had about 3 men talking to at one time....well, at least when she was new to our circle of friends) She kind of made an announcement to the members of our group that she wasn't dating right now, well at least everyone within ear shot. l:laugh: I'm not sure if she's one of those "Don't eat where you crap" kind of people, but I have talked to a few people in that group, and apparently the "rotational dating" has caused issues (I'll save that for another topic/thread) Well, just recently....but a few months later after she had joined our circle of friends, I had seen her place an ad on a dating site....and I was wondering if I should say, " howdy stranger funny meeting you on here" at least I think I know her well enough to say that. But, in the past I had done this, and some people might be embarrassed by the fact they're now on a dating site, and someone that knows them OUTSIDE ....well....in the REAL world...has now seen them on a dating site....could prove to be embarrassing to them? Like "Oh my gosh.....someone I know personally has seen me on a dating site....how embarassing!" Or, I also figure 'Meh what did you expect.....we're not in THAT big of a city, right? Also, I figured with all these functions she's attended these several months, she'd figured these events would be a better option of meeting people.....and then having to go online later as another way to meet people (But not as rewarding or great as the face to face events) Anyhow, I was wondering, if someone you met in person....you see online.....would you be embarssing them by contacting them on there?
