yes
i keep on not fulfilling my TO DO lists, and its frustrating! i don't think i set myself too big a list, but i find that so much time goes towards emailing, walking here, walking there, daydreaming, talking, checking this forum, etc ... i guess my qn is how to be more productive and focused... i bet there's no simple answer, but lemme try anyway. -yes
jalexy
i guess the only way is self discipline? and maybe your to do list has things on it that you are scared of (ie, studying for a hard test that you are scared of). or thats just weird me! lol i find that when i procrastinate im just scared of failing or something, so i just put it off but that could be completely not the idea here! just self discipline, and maybe offer yourself a reward when you finish? longlegzs80
I can relate to you. I find myself in the same situation. On the weekends is when I want to get so much done with my portfolio and just be into my artwork, or just do something other then going to the gym, driving around and going to places where I spend no money, etc. You get what I mean. IT is comming to the point where this lack of motivation or whatever it is is really getting to me big time. So, what do you do in these curcumstances?
Author yes
thanks for that site, moimeme! self-rewards are good method, jalexy! longlegz... i just try to stay focused. setting smaller goals than "finish this project" also works for me - e.g. "finish the first section" ... just so I don't shy away from it. silly self-tricks. -yes
