SummerLady
I am recently divorced. The very thought of marriage to me was like, ugh, no way. But I met someone recently and we just click in every way. Its not this obsessive, over the top, romantic type love. Don't get me wrong I get the butterflies and all that but its just this deep friendship, attraction, compatiability. Never had this with my ex. Maybe I am more mature, and now I know what I want. But I can see myself with him. I think he feels the same way. This is my first boyfriend after my divorce. Do you all think this is an issue or is it a case by case basis. Wanted your opinions. He is also divorced with kids.
LonelyTiger
Deep friendship, attraction and compatibility sounds like a pretty good place to start a relationship. I can't imagine what difference it would make that you've both been married before - except, like you say, you may have more idea about what you want. Good luck with it. I hope things work out for you.
