I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP!!!

Recommended Posts

REcently a guy that i worked with and who was my good friend and I decided to step up our relationship and we began talking. Everything was going great. We had good conversation, got along really well, and I thought we could really work. We finally kissed and to me it felt right. that same night when he was leaving, I accidentally broke wind. I know its gross, but I didn't mean to. He aggravated me but didn't act like he didn't want to talk to me anymore. That was Thursday, and it is now Monday and I haven't heard from him. Could something like that ruin something that was going good? Am I just overreacting? Maybe he is just taking things slow!! Who knows? Please give me advice!!

It really doesn't make any difference whether it was your fault or not. I am sure he doesn't feel like you went out of your way to make noise. But, yes, it's a turn-off and for some men it could end a relationship.

Both men and women idealize a partner, particularly during the initial stages of a romance. He agreed to upgrade his friendship with you. He may feel you were presumptuous to feel so comfortable to do this in his presence.

I know first hand that ladies really get fairly upset when I accidentally burp. Passing gas seems to be worse in the eyes (and noses) of people generally.

If you really ever want to end a relationship for all time, pass gas while making love.

Forgive yourself, it could have happened to anyone at anytime. I think if this had happened further along in your relationship, it may not have had such an effect. Or he may not be calling because he is embarassed or may figure you would be embarassed to talk to him right now.

You say he aggravated you. I don't know what that means but if he laughed or otherwise demeaned you for this very human mistake, he is a worthless scumbag and you don't need him around. A bit of a smile or laugh would be natural and could be hardly helped but the better thing would have been to ignore it.

There are so very many reasons he may not be calling you and this could be one of them. Rather than react at all, assume that if you don't hear from him by Friday, you are once again a free agent.

I think when these things happen, we are always happy we eat good, nutricious, balanced meals that are not too spicy or bean-filled.

if he does not like you just for that then he is not even worth it. i know you feel embarrassed but maybe he has just not had a chance to talk to you. no, you are not over reacting i would probly be really embarrassed too. maybe he will still be your friend. as soon as you get over it just talk to him as a friend.
