dark1san
Me and my gf were talking about a job of hers and a potential one that she was hoping to try for down the road, and I said that I looked into it because the job would involve both of us, and said to her, " If we end up being married, we'd be able to get the position sometime down the road if you really wanted to". And she replied back to me, " I feel it's more of a when not an if :)" I want to ask her to marry me, not tomorrow or next week, I have an idea of when and how I want to do so, but is what she said a good sign that she'll accept? TaraMaiden
I think she beat you to it. _/l\_
stace79
If I had said that, I think it would mean you have a green light. Obviously I'm not her, but to me it's a great sign! Good luck!
texman
And she replied back to me, " I feel it's more of a when not an if :)" Mine hit me with something like this. We were talking about proposals and I jokingly said "What would you do if I proposed to you on bended knee?". She replied back, "How do you know I'm not planning on proposing to you?". To me...bright GREEN light...so I proposed later that week when the kids were with our ex's ... She said YES, by the way...and so will yours, so...what are you waiting for ?? Author dark1san
I need to get rid of my house first, which will give me money to pay it off,and get out of debt. And thankfully someone is buying my house, so that first part is down now It's a three part plan, sell the house, get rid of the debt, then propose. I know if I get out of debt I'll be happier with myself, and I want to give her a man that is debt free.
Author dark1san
Ok I've been looking up this and thought I'd come back here on this topic and post it. Would it be wrong if I proposed to her without a ring?
TaraMaiden
No, but maybe you could make it 'unofficial' and tell her you promise you will buy a ring and make it official ASAP....
