Island Girl

Soon -- very soon -- you will be together and never will have to separate again.

You are leaps and bounds closer to this now.

Enjoy your time and don't think about leaving. Immerse yourself in each other.

And I hope you got to see the PENGUINS!!!!

I tried Poutine. Hated it. Something about fries and cheese covered in gravy just didn`t set too well with me. He did say that it had way too much gravy on it that night so he didn`t like it much either. I do, however, love St. Hubert. That stuff can`t possibly be good for you but it`s yummy.

We got rained out on going to the Biodome and the Botanical Gardens on Tuesday, but we`re going to try and go tomorrow. Hopefully the weather will allow it cause I really wanted to go. The planetarium was AWESOME.

We walked around for a long time in Montreal and of course I got pictures of the Hockey statues at the Bell Centre. I love hockey. :) I just think that Montreal and Laval are very very beautiful. I wouldn`t mind living here a bit. It kind of still reminds me of home because there`s still quite a bit of green here in Laval. So if worst comes to worst and he can`t move down, I wouldn`t be upset about moving up here.

I swear, I`m having the best time with him. He has been so sweet and so loving. Being with him just FEELS like home. And his cat loves me more than she loves him. ;)

I`m meeting his parents for the first time tonight. Wish me luck!!!

Oh, and no spiders so far!!

Yay!

Oh by the way, I got a webcam today, Roller :)

Awww I`m so proud of you! It might be more fun than you think! And when your child is old enough to know whats going on, it might be some good funny face making time!

Just keep it somewhere safe. No need to use it until you want to. :)

Actually, the cat's out of the bag now - we were supposed to link up last night so she could say hello to him, but we had tech failure and he didn't get my text until after I put her to bed (if he doesn't respond, he's usually in the middle of something - like a fight with the STBex  - so i didn't call). but we're gonna try again tonight. She's thrilled! And can't wait to be able to say hello :)

I am not fond of the webcam yet though. I am constantly fussing with it to try and look good (yeah I know, he doesn't care, but I do), and the delay on it really sucks. Oh well, hopefully won't need it for more than a few months ;)

Try Sightspeed. It`s free and it`s the best program that Mathew and I have used so far. There`s a big difference between using that and using something like msn, which is what we used to use.

Sometimes I get fussy with it. I try to get the right angle, make sure I`ve got my makeup on and whatnot. Most of the time it works out, but then there are times when I just give up and try it another night. I think it`s just one of those things that you need to be in the mood for.

But when you get to see his face and she`s able to say hello to him it`ll be worth it. Sometimes the little things are all it takes to make you happy. I`m sure your little girl will have loads of fun!

Did you see old Montreal? It's beautiful, down by the port.

If you like St. Hubert, try Swiss Chalet, same idea but even better.

Make sure to also try a Montreal Smoked Meat Sandwich.
