Not just for sex, but I believe that they are much more attractive that women my own age. Anybody got any advice on how I can date an attractive and successful older woman. B) A MILF is a mother, not necessarily an older woman.

GorillaTheater
Now GT, that's NOT nice to try to get this youngster fired! Given the board and the topic, I was simply assuming that he was looking for work MILFs. Just trying to be helpful.
Chrome Barracuda
Why do you want a relationship when mostly the relationship is primarily a sexual one?
anne1707
You could ask your mother if any of her friends are game
EddieN
I think cougar is a better word for this. No one actually gets to have sex with a MILF, otherwise they would become a MIJF (Mom I Just F*****).

Rob
Well for starters, I think you should use a less offensive term when describing them.
TaraMaiden
Sorry.. What is a 'MILF'? Not in the acronyms or abbreviations list......
Trialbyfire
Sorry.. What is a 'MILF'? Not in the acronyms or abbreviations list...... M = Mothers I = I'd L = Like to F = [Do] A MILF can be of any breeding age, where they're proven to be breedable since they already have child(ren).
TaraMaiden
Ah. Thanks. yes, I think the OP may therefore like to address his terminology then... Not all hot 'senior' women are Mothers.....
2sure
To be honest - older women, MILFS, cougars - whatever you want to call them..... Some are attracted to younger guys but not 18. More like 25 ish. My friends that do enjoy this kind of attention have had long conversations about this and for the most part they find 18 ish unappealing. Not because it is so young exactly - but because they see no point in it. Please dont ask me to elaborate.
TaraMaiden
As a pushing - 50-ish person, I agree with you...... Maximum (minimum??) for me would be late 20's early 30's.... An 18 year old would be just too much like babysitting.
CarrieT
I'm 45 and I have ranted before about the seemingly sudden proclivity of this phenom. Why, as a 35 year old, did I never get any attention from any men other than 60 year olds? Now I seem to get no attention from any males (I won't say "men") over 32. Yesterday alone, I was approached by a 20 year old and a 24 year old. It is becoming freakish to me that somehow there seems to be the belief that because I am middle aged and single, I MUST be a Cougar. This is just an observation and I am still pondering why this situation is growing in our society. Why do these boys want older women? Was it like this a decade or two ago and I was simply unaware of it? None of my 60-year old friends can confirm this and I believe it is a currently social oddity. But I still wonder why... Trialbyfire
I don't think this is anything new. Consider Oedipus and a young man's "rite of passage".
MrGeorge
Hi, I'm 18, and am seriously wanting to date an older woman. Not just for sex, but I believe that they are much more attractive that women my own age. Anybody got any advice on how I can date an attractive and successful older woman. Thanks hi sam, I can't really think of any sound advice because I dont to dampen your spirits to say that is a lot of responsibility. My older brother(19 at the time) dated "well sort of" a 24 year old waitress back in 82-82 for a year. At the time I felt richie cunningham trying to take pointers from Fonzie But in reality his relationship with and other waitress' where he worked were fueled by alcohol/cocaine addictions. I guess I was lucky that i didnt have to deal with all that baggage, but I think it is almost to fantasize about it and think of Barry williams taking his tv mom on a date. Though nothing really materized sorry guy, I m ranting too much, one big thing i would suggest is not being dishonest like myself but true to yourself. I can practically what doesnt work, but your still young, you not old enough to corrupted yet. lol take care geo

I am your age and keep getting hit on by much younger and much older guys. I found it 'a new phenominon' as well, but only to myself. I'm thinking TBF is right in that it has always been. You and I (and all our friends) are just now becoming personally aware of it.
Joey Popps
I think it's a combination of factors. While there are plenty of attractive young women, there are also a ton of overweight young women these days who don't seem to have much ambition. While there seem to be a lot more women in their late 30's and 40's, even 50's with careers, kids or no kids or grown kids, who look better than the 20 year olds and have a lot more going for them. I don't know what it is but in the past few years I've noticed there seem to be more 'cougars' who take better care of themselves than young 20 somethings. Too many 20 somethings these days party too much, don't seem to have real goals, eat too much, and don't exercise enough, if they ever exercise. I have a simple example that speaks to my point. There are a couple of different clubs where I live. One is where all the 20 year olds hang out. The other is where all the 'cougars' hang out. Go figure the 'cougar' hang out is where the better looking, more in shape, and more ambitious crowds are these days. The 20 something hang out is where over half the crowd is overweight, over half the crowd looks like they spent too much time in the sun and drinking, over half the crowd have college degrees but no ambition to do anything with them, and so on. I have no clue why that it, but it is that way. But saying all that most 'cougars' probably arent looking to hang with an 18 year old.
me003
JP - I have to agree with you on this one. I am currently taking a class with mostly women and we all got to talk. There was old lady who was talking about her 21 year old son, to which point we ALL turned around and could not believe that she had 3 kids and that she was 46. She looked like she was in the mid 30's. Her body did not look like a mother of 3 either. Maybe its having children that makes a mother less likely too drink and party too much and in turns keep then looking younger. WHo knows. I also have a friend who is 35, with a 12 year old. She got IDd and they thought it was a fake ID...

She got IDd and they thought it was a fake ID... I get asked for ID a lot. My take is that the body recovers more quickly the younger a woman is when she has children. People dont even think I have had any children. Typically they think my children are my sisters! I have had a young man who would be more suited to one of my daughters develop a serious crush on me. I had no idea until my daughter told me. I thought he was just a polite young man. I let him down gently off course and now he is getting married to someone who is pretty much like myself but 11 years younger than me. I still think the age difference is a tad much but I could be being a traditionalist. She is 26, he is 20 but they are really happy. At the time I just said to him that he was probably seeing something in me (family values, openness) which he will recognise in his soul mate. This seems to have held some truth. Or maybe because he is a sensitive soul a relationship with an older woman simply suited him better? In many ways he is like a younger version of my Hubby. Even from when he was very young he explained that all he wanted was to find someone special and was never really into the party scene... same as my Hubby. Anyhow, I am glad that he is happy. Lovely young man. As for the other youngsters who have approached me - I have put it down to watching too much MILF porn or something. I would not allow anyone to treat me like a piece of meat and dont find sly comments/amorous looks towards my body at all appropriate from someone my stepsons age. Who has the time for that anyway? Please.. My Hubbys ex has only recently grown out of all that at 43 years old. She still jumps around her sons friends all the time though and parties in low class places. *Eve shudders* How embarrasing. Take care, Eve xx
Cherished
Well for starters, I think you should use a less offensive term when describing them. Thank you, Rob. Why are there these offensive terms for women who have children and women past a certain age? Now people are calling cougars as age 40 and up. It is offensive and it is looking at women as predators, either that or it's using a vulgar swear word MILF. Why can't women just be women? Why do they have to be tagged with inappropriate labels for 1. having kids or 2. being above a certain age?
