She interested, stoking her ego or just naive?

First sorry for the length of this. We are coworkers and she is divorced just over a year as her husband left for another woman. Me going through a divorce. We stared to have casual conversations in the corridors and break room about a year ago. These casual meets conversations would get quite length and we would hold extensive eye contact. I became aware that she was more and more frequently walking by my office and being very deliberate at looking in to see if I was there. She also started to touch me on the hand or arm, even when we just happen to pass each other in the corridor she would nudge me with her elbow. On one occasion she actually ran her hand down my back as I passed her when she was talking to somebody else. She then started to actual come into my office and deliberately start a conversation. Conversations have moved on from work topics into our personal lives and she seems quite happy to tell me about her situation and her ex-husband and her kids. I got the distinct impression that she was very interested, she actually told me she was on the market again and looking. I responded by making some suggestion that we maybe meet outside work to chat. She then wrote me an e-mail saying that she could NOT offer me a romantic relationship. I then backed of so when we meet in the corridor etc I would be polite but not initiate any more conversation. A few months pasted and she would then try to keep the conversation going. She also started coming by my office again several times a day, and has started to come in and start a conversation, as opposed to just saying hello. Sometime she is there for more than an hour. The more time we spend together the more fond I get of her (possibly due to my situation) and again made a mistake of hinting that I liked her. She then made some comment about me be persistent. If it wasn’t for her hang about outside my office or coming into my office daily we would probably only see each other a few time a week in passing in the break-room or corridor. The other day there she even asked me for my personal e-mail address as she said she wanted to send me something – which she hasn’t done yet.

I don't think she's stroking her ego. Not knowing what she really wants is more like it.

I wish people would just say what they want! It makes things much easier!!
