Ok, I hope this isn't something that's been addressed a million times on this board already, but what do you guys think of calling a girl a slut? Is it ever warrented? What about someone who wears revealing clothes but doesn't put out? Guy/girl double standards? (I call guys "man sluts" when deserved, but there's no actual guy specific word). Is a girl who has more casual or adventurous sex slutty or liberated? Do guys actually want to date girls who're adventurous in bed, or just have sexual affairs with them?

Generally I approve of sluttishness, as long as it's with me and not a bunch of other guys too.

If you can. Maybe you could attend some kind of workshop.

The only down side being that it's married folk that are more likely to be in attendance :D singles haven't the same motivation to learn em

I think it comes down to how you define sex. I have a very high sex drive even for a male where when I'm with someone can easily have sex 15-20+ times a week depending upon how much I see them.

Yet I choose not to go out and seek people just to have sex to get off. I'll use my hand and porn for that. Less hassle, no chance of infection, and sex is just not enjoyable unless you really like the person for me. Sure someone may be wicked good at it but it feels hollow for some reason. I have tried it when I was younger and did not like it.

So for me - male or female, I consider anyone has a sluttish vibe if they go out just looking to **** . Most people will be against this view.

Whereas some other people define sluttish behaviour as dressing, some if the person will sleep with near enough anyone etc etc.

On that topic I think the reason a double standard exists is because woman are the ones mostly in control if they have sex or not. I mean if you took an average looking guy, an average looking woman, set them out to see how many people they could sleep with in a month, who do you think would win 100% of the time? The girl, because there's so many men willing to say yes, not the case with woman.

Thats why usually the guy doesn't get grief because he usually isn't the one that decides if sex goes ahead or not, just the initiator to show interest in the idea it's the woman, and thats why the woman gets grief.

Of course I don't believe in such crap - Both male/female who go sex mad are just as bad as each other in my opinion but I can certainly understand why the stereotype exists.

Basically I class a slut as someone who puts too much emphasis on sex and sleeps around to get off rather than being selective about it. Male or female.

So, most people are sluts according to me ;). Not that I find anything wrong with it, just not what I'm interested in, in a way. The number itself can be an offputter but not too much, it's usually when the girls still friends with a lot of the people she had sex with thats the offputter for me.

Calling someone that word in particular says much more about the person saying it than the intended subject.

Indeed - a slut is a woman who will sleep with anyone. A bitch is a woman who will sleep with anyone but me.

Generally I approve of sluttishness, as long as it's with me and not a bunch of other guys too.

See, there you go...
