dprelz
I've been reading a lot lately about identity and finding out who I am. I recently found this site http://www.michaelteachings.com/warrior_role.html This identity/role seems to describe me so perfectly and intimately it is like they are just listing my exact personality. Does anyone have experience with this site? Do you guys believe in an "identity code"? Can someone point me in the right direction for more information on this topic? Thank you in advance
wuggle
I have had a brief look at this website and IMO it is TOTAL garbage. From your other thread I know you are very intense and angry , and It is good to see you looking for answers in life, but I would be doing you no favours if I didn't try to steer you away from this sort of nonsense ('Michael channels????' - please). If your looking for answers I would recomend one of two things. Either find a local charity that runs soup kitchens or other interactions with homeless people and sign up (the reason I suggest this is that this should dissipate much of your anger and frustration, I think you will start to put things more into persepective in your own life). Or take up meditation (the reason for this suggestion is that if you learn to calm your mnd you again may see things in a better perspective). It would be such a shame if you get duped into this sort of rubbish whilst trying to better yourself.
Ronni_W
Many people do enjoy and find value working with archetypal energies. As with any other type of material, it is more important how you are going to apply the information to your personal situation, and use it to improve your own life. Carolyn Myss is a noted author in the area of archetypes. You can learn more at myss.com under the 'library' tab. I don't know about "identity codes" but, if it helps you gain deeper insight into yourself and your own behaviours, then why not apply it in ways that are beneficial to you? wuggle is correct that we do need to be cautious of where we get our information. My primary 'red flags' are if they're telling me that theirs is the ONLY "right" way, and I HAVE to spend money on their products and services in order to heal, achieve, etc. Other than that, I don't care the source as long as what I'm reading resonates with my own heart/intuition, and helps me in one way or another. Trialbyfire
I guess different methodologies work for different people. For myself, I live by my own code, in that it meshes best with my personality and lifestyle. When I say it meshes best, it meshed with both my positive and negative traits through acceptance of both, within reason. If you rely on external rules to govern your perception, you've given over your personal power and control over your life, to someone else. Rule the kingdom within you, which includes your own veto power within you.
