shoesies05
alright so i think ive been about 2 weeks now without a cigar or cigarette... and im doing better than i thought i would be. its the longest ive ever made it. today: had more cravings for a smoke that since i quit, so its been hard. I just keep telling myself "one more day" so it makes the goal seem a lot smaller and reachable. but god- how do you deal with the food cravings? since quitting im like wanting sweets all the time lol. its so bad! im not stuffing myself with sweets, and am trying to eat yogurt or fruit instead of candy. but i cant help an ice cream or tonight taco bell ( not a sweet i know)! anyone else been in the same spot, and have some tips? Author shoesies05
oh and im flat broke and looking for a job right now. so anything with money is pretty much a no no for me. btw- incase anyone was concerned, i am attending the gym just to keep myself in check, and it also motivates me not to smoke and get healthy. whichwayisup
Chew nicorette gum, or thrive mints with nicotin in them. Keep telling yourself that those nic fits will pass, that you'll be fine. Just need to ride them out until you feel the withdrawal less and less. Another option is, if you find any cigarettes that have been smoked, put them in a jar with water, when you feel the urge to smoke, open the lid and take a sniff.
