I absolutely loooove shopping (it's my favourite passtime, well almost favourite )... but I like it 'alone'... Maybe she felt that you were 'bored' then it made her uncomfortable.. it's hard to say.. we weren't there.. but since most men hate shopping, I don't think I would do it for a date. Next time, take her to a movie, concert, museum.. NO alcohol... just to see if you're still compatible. I mean I don't know Alpha , maybe he loves shopping. Maybe he just wanted to spend time with her and that was the only way that day. I just know most men hate shopping. Not all but alot. I agree with OP here. Did he go on a shopping date because he 'had' to, or does he like doing that kind of stuff. Me, I love it. Handling fabrics, dressing a woman, trying on shoes (handling her feet). As an advocate of leaving something to the imagination, it's heaven. Then there's jewelry The key is being with a woman who is open to that. Lizzie and some others here would not be. That's OK. But sometimes Nordies sales can be a ZOO and more frustrating than anything. I'm sorry it didn't work out as well as you hoped. And i think you should do a FUN date that does NOT include drinking. This way, its more interesting than shoe shopping, and you can see how things go without the whole "party atmosphere" thing. Because you realize, dating someone is not going to be an every day party hearty and drinking episode. Couples end up doing more casual and NORMAL day to day things together. If you can only be happy partying with a woman then maybe you arent truly looking for a REAL relationship. Or, if this woman ONLY interests you when you guys are in that drinking/partying/late night type of atmosphere, maybe she just isnt the one for you. Because like others said, if you TRULY like her, simply going for a walk in the park with your dogs ( if y'all have dogs) would be kool because it would be more about spending quality time with her. Espescially at this stage of the game when stuff is all new and exciting. And last but not least, YOU are the one having dates with her, NOT us here on LS. Different costume for the last 30 years. I think I've seen pix of the IDOJ (Jeanie) look twice. Heels are a bit low but good for walking. Nice curves. I don't think this is a good sign for ya'll as an actual couple. I agree that when you are really into someone, even walking around the mall would be fun and cute. As in, you'd come on the board and say something to the effect of "All we did was hang out at the mall but she's so awesome yadda yadda yadda". I have had several dates like this over the years. I have generally found that dates that seem boring on the third, and/or no alcohol is involved, generally means (as someone else mentioned) that there is a lack of "real" chemistry. I can remember the last time I was in love, we could have been washing socks and I would have been ecstacically (sp) excited to be with them or even maybe just content (like a warm content) I think when you can just be with someone, without talking much or having to be entertaining, just generally without any effort - well that's when you know you have true chemistry. And I equate chemistry to be the whole package, personality, connection, physical etc, etc. Been such a long time for myself like, so I do know how much I miss it Link to post Share on other sites
