They both are in the wrong and the bottom line is, one of them needs to man up and leave.

Chrome what if he didn't find anything? What if all he found on that tape was a woman walking around doing personal things like scratching her boob, picking her nose, talking to her mother on the phone about personal things that pertain to her and her family...talking to her girfriends on the phone about how hot some actor looked on etc.

What then? It still makes it fine this weirdo took it upon himself to wire up the house to spy on his unsuspecting girfriend? How would you feel if your g/f had your house wired and was spying on you on a video in your intimate alone moments? Sure you may not have anything significant to hide but on the same token there are plenty things you would rather just keep to yourself and certainly would not enjoy having the woman you love and trust watch you do on a video behind your back.

C'mon man, do we really need to explain this to you? It's WRONG! Besides the fact I too am convinced this is a troll post, for morality argument's sake there really is no need to explain why this is morally wrong.

If he didnt find anything, he could have just thrown the tape out and felt better for not being such a stalker afterwards. some women you just cant trust, even if they say their intentions are pure. And yeah I think I would feel weirded out but I would feel like laughing because I sleep in the nude. lol. Like I said people that have nothing to hide, hide nothing. But I would sit her down afterwards and establish that spying is a no-no and we need to have trust, videotaping me without permission does not inspire trust, but I would be forgiving. I'm not a complete monster...lol.

Also if he does live there with her, like someone mentioned then he could have been videotaping his living areas. From the start I' said it was WRONG! read my words! I didnt agree with how he got the information but clearly he did find something. He should have hired a P.I. that's what I would have did if I suspected she was doing me dirty.

But in the end, he found out the truth... now didnt he?

You're doing it again! You're turning this into a gender issue!

If your statement is rational, then you suggest that rigging up the house with surveillance is okay for men to do.

Either it's creepy and wrong for anybody to do or it's okay for anyone to do. Why do you justify wrong actions based on the gender of who they are enacted upon?

And on that note, how can you claim to not be misogynistic when you use this "logic" as a moral compass?

"You can do anything you have to to catch them skeemin wimmins because even when theyr not tryin, they do ya in."

If your 50 yo girlfriend feels the need to rant like a teenage girl.....and.... you feel the need to video tape her like a P.I., which you're not, obviously......MOVE ON. I don't even think this is real. You're 37...... she's 50.... either she's insanely hot (obviously she's lacking on personality) or you, 37, are desperate for companionship.....any companionship.

i don't even know what to say............

Every every breath you take, every move you make, every bond you break, every step you take, I'll be watching you...

Every word you say, every single day...

I never said it's something for men to do, It's not a gender issue!!! but facts are facts with the way society is nowadays how can you trust your anyone??? It's hard to trust people whoever they be man or woman.

And I repeat I never agreed with the way he went about things!!!! I keep saying it's wrong so I agree.

If the situation was reversed and it was a woman who videotaped her boyfriend I would say the exact same things regardless!!!! DUH!

My only gripe was he should have hired a P.I. if he suspected something was going on. Leave the surveillance to the professionals. lol.

It's over right, so why are you ladies griping at me. if you suspected your partner of cheating what would you do to go uncover the truth, you think your partner is gonna man up and tell you willingly???

Really? So no one here has ever been in a situation to tape their suspected S.O.??? in some form or manner?

So please Sally it could have been anyone in the situation. not just this man. He found out he was being deceived regardless lets' focus on that, shall we.

The last thing I would do is put a hidden camera .

In fact, it would be something I would not do at all. Just plain creepy and stalkerish. For men or women.

I'd rather spend the money on something else .

The only time I would probably tape my SO is when we are both in bed.. and you know what I mean by that.

I think when you actually get to the point of hiding a camera, the relationship is done. Regardless of what you're about to see, the complete lack of trust would be an indication that it's time to leave.

Setting up carmeras in your own girlfriend's place is beyond rehensible. No matter what her friends are talking about.

Girlfriend's female friends, the scourge of male-kind everywhere :)

I thought the scourge of male-kind everywhere was porn.

This is so true CE...even if nothing was found out the relationship was still toast as the trust bond was no longer there..

Well the camera was a nice idea, but far better to climb into the attic and drill little holes in the ceiling so you can see and hear exactly what's going on without fear of any interference etc. You'll have to lie there for a long time pressing your eye to the holes, but I'm sure it'll be worth it.

I thought I was the only one who thought this way. I have a story and this isn't the thread for it, but suffice it to say I was in a place where it was tempting to spy, and I'm just damn happy I never did it.
