Thaddeus
Most often, the posts that are made on this board deal with things like infidelity, lack of trust, the friend-zone (is there a worse dungeon?), sexual denial, divorce, yadda yadda yadda. Not surprising, I suppose, given the nature of the board. So let's throw a change-up into the mix. Write something about your partner that you absolutely adore, something that makes your heart go pitter-pat! Brag about them a little!
AlektraClementine
My fiance makes me laugh every single day. Hearty laughs that make my stomach hurt. He is strong and capable. He's a terrific person with an ENORMOUS heart. He wouldn't hurt anyone. Since day one, he has displayed tremendous follow through on his word. Calls when he says he will. Does what he says he will. Loves me and understands me. Even when I'm bat-s**t crazy emotional, he is never dismissive or mocking. When we have an issue and I call it to his attention, he takes immediate measure to correct it. All this, and he's also independent and free-thinking. The one thing I don't have that he's brought to my life is a renewed sense of wonder and optimism about the world around us. I could go on. I wish women in general would open their eyes and see that a good man doesn't make you sit around and wait to know their feelings. A good man doesn't make you feel sad. From the beginning, I never had to question his level of interest in me because he made that clear through actions. To present, I never have to question his love for me because he makes it clear through actions.:love:

Another thing I find amazing about him is that he's good with people - from all walks of life. From cleaners to politicians (in his country) etc. He's passionate about all things pursued. He gets excited over little things he achieves - so cute! He always makes me want to be a better person and it's sweet that he says the same about me. Also, he knows how to calm me down when I am angry/upset over something. He knows me very, very well that it's not even funny anymore! . I could go on and on... but I won't bore all of you.. . Soul-Searcher
Mine is soo funny. He makes me laugh so much and his random comments never fails to amaze me lol. He was my best friend before we became a couple and we have helped each other in dealing with the baggage that we both carry. He is so understanding, patient and caring. I love his cuddles, his smile and the cheeky look he has in his eyes. I love the look of concentration on his face when he is fixing something and he amazes me with his skills. I love how passionate he is about his job. He is a perfectionist and he takes good care of his customers. I love how wise he is and I have learned so much from him. He has helped me become a better person. I feel warm and safe in his presence and I love how over-protective he is of me. I could go on and on about him lol.
Trialbyfire
Yesterday, we went for a swim and dinner at friends' place. Not only did he try to drown me the previous weekend, but he tried again yesterday. I think he truly loves me.

Trialbyfire
I am so envious. I am going to go to my BF now and tell him that if he loves me, then he will try to drown me. Only on LS... Okay, to be serious, last night he and the boys were standing beer in hand, around the BBQ (really unusual thing, huh?) and I was sitting with the girls at the table, doing our girls chatting thing, while admiring him (yes, I stare at him, so what? ). He caught me doing it and gave me one of those wonderfully wicked smile/looks that made my heart go pitter-patter.

After such a long time together, I still find myself staring at him as though it was our first few weeks together. One of my favorite pastimes is looking at my dude, head to toe and swooning. Touche
He's very, very loyal. No one doesn't like him. He's smart and funny and sweet and still sexy. It's no wonder I fell for him so fast. From the beginning, I couldn't picture myself spending my life with anyone else but him.
Trialbyfire
Sounds to me like the two of you are bad for the staring thing too! Another thing I adore about him is his directness, for both positive and negative comments. He's never rude or cruel. He just tells it like it is but also willingly listens and will amend his opinion based on rational argument. He sometimes stands firm, sometimes compromises and sometimes rolls over. I greatly admire and respect his ability to do so, which forces me to do the same. Part of it is his intuitive knowledge of when I'm offering the olive branch. He doesn't go for the kill when this happens and meets me halfway. To me, it says a lot about his internal strength, which is impossible to describe, and also that he respects me. He's like a rock with strong boundaries.
Lauriebell82
My fiance does lots of sweet things for me. My teddy bear who I have had since I was 1 year old is falling apart a little bit so he stayed up till midnight last night sewing him for me. It was cute, he took Teddy into his office and put him on a towel (the "operating table") and gave him an operation. He looks so great, my fiance knows how much my bear means to me and he would do anything to make me happy.

Trialbyfire
If mine discovers how much I stare at him, it will probably freak him out. Busted SS...and I won't illustrate why! More cute things that I adore. We were at his parents place with a million rug rats running around. Big family! One of his toddler-aged nephews fell down in front of him, so he picked him up, gave him a great big hug, said something to him which made the little boy stop crying and giggle, then put him down. I melt each time I see him with kids. He adores them and they adore him. I can't wait for our own little brood!
Touche
TBF, your story reminded me of Mr. T when we were dating. I'd never before met a man so into babies. Even I was never into babies, and not particularly fond of holding other people's babies but he LOVED it. We once went to a family thing, early in our relationship, and he pretty much held his infant nephew the whole time and was talking to him, cooing, etc. It was very cute to see and melted my heart. Trialbyfire
Awww...that's cute Touche. I've always had a thing for men who are naturals with kids. I recall seeing a dad with his little girl, walking down the street one day. They were holding hands, she looking up at him with love and happiness, him looking down at her with love and adoration. Good lord, was that man hawt!! This was one of the many magnetical drawing points for S. I can't say enough positive things about him, not that he's perfect but that the things I value, are his strengths. Who knew this would turn out the way it has, with a random meeting! As I expressed to another member, a cosmic coincidence.
Lucky_One
He is such a fantastic role model to my son, and makes huge efforts to do things to show his support (flew from Boston in order to watch his first game starting pitching, and had to fly back that night). He is hard-working, dedicated, passionate, and generous. He tries hard to make sure that we are always emotionally connected and that we always communicate about any issues that pop up. He's wonderful!

He's always doing something sweet for me, whether it's planning a trip somewhere I've always wanted to go, or picking up my favorite coffee drink from Starbeezy on his way home from the gym in the morning to surprise me (I never have time to get my own), or just DVRing shows he would never watch alone but thinks I'd like. He's always thinking about me, and it shows. I adore him.
