I was told that my application just needed to be checked out by their main head office, and as long as that went okay I would be called to be scheduled. Well, I just got home late last night from a trip to L.A and I called to let them know I was back, I was told that their main office decided to fill the position with someone through another store instead. Now I'm all bummed, I really needed that job. I started applying for jobs again just now but that just wasn't the kind of news I wanted to get today. Back on the wagon again . kittie s. Posted July 19, 2009 Share Posted July 19, 2009 Yeah, I feel your pain too I got laid off a couple months AFTER my boyfriend had to move away. It's a rough time when you don't even have one job to keep you occupied as well as to earn money. I'm looking around and applying just about everywhere. When you are just at home most of the time because you can't really afford to go out and do the things your friends do because you lost your job, you start to dwell on tiny things your b/f does that you aren't crazy about. Disappointment will grow, things will get shaky. I'm afraid we're in that spot right now. I got pretty frustrated with some things he's doing over the past week or two. I hope I haven't screwed things up big time, but they appear to be improving. Anyways, I wish you mucho luck, dear!!!! You'll find a second job soon =) Link to post Share on other sites
