Meaplus3
I think it all depends on the person's morals and core values. I would not say it's more of a male thing vs a female thing. Depends on the person. Mea:)
AnnPod
I suggest just not to think about that. I know guys and girls who have been cheating and being cheated on. I also think it depends on your personality. But the happy news is that people in LDRs don't cheat more than in other relationships. And the best thing is not to think about things like that and let things mess you up.
Thaddeus
There are tons of studies that have looked at exactly this sort of thing, but the results are inconclusive. The Atwood & Schwartz, 2002 - Journal of Couple & Relationship Therapy reported that 45-55% of married women and 50-60% of married men have or are cheating (see Infidelity Statistics). Other studies at different times have come up with wildly different results. One study reported by the British tabloid The Sun said that women cheat more than men. That goes against the general trend which tends to say that men cheat more than women. It could be that men tend to be prone to over-report affairs and women tend to under-report. But it's statistically impossible to have more women than men cheating. So whether it's 12% or 60%, the number will be roughly the same for both genders based on the rules of statistical analysis. As a side note, a study published in the Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health reports that maybe 4 men in 100 are supporting children that aren't their own.

Don't know if it's true... What's your opinion? I think the ONLY thing that matters, is trusting your partner won't cheat on you. Don't ever allow others to gain a foothold in your relationship like that, it is very detrimental to the relationship. It doesn't matter if guys like hunting, or illicit sex. What matters is, do you trust and know that YOUR guy is faithful.
Author chezmozart
it should be "told" , sorry for typing mistakes. Just curious. Wants to know the difference in China and western society. The differences are really interesting, since myself is experiencing cultural differences all the time. :-)
