missdependant Posted August 15, 2009 Share Posted August 15, 2009 It's unhealthy. We have a friend similar. What we've learned is that we are just going to have to let him learn the hard way. Talking to him about it will only make him more isolated, telling her to piss off will only make her more angry and take more away than she already has. You just have to let it play it's course. Hopefully someday he'll come to his sense and realize the girl is no good. You can only offer to be his support when that day does come (and it will, trust me). Link to post Share on other sites

I think your emotions are playing into this. He's an adult, and whether it's wrong or not or will hurt him or not is his decision. Maybe he really loves his girlfriend. Who knows?
