Not sure anymore

Hey I'm new to the site. Just looking for some thoughts from others who know what I'm going through.

My bf and I have been in a long distance relationship for about 2 years. I live in Canada and he live in the states. We have visited each other a few times but in the last few months things have really gone down hill. We used to be so strong and be like best friends but it's not the same as it used to be. It's tough because we're in two different countries and neither of us can just pick up and move when we want to. I'm going to college this year in Canada and I was ready to give up on my ldr because I just don't know how much more I can handle. He got really mad at me for wanting to give up. He wants to try but it just seems like he's not being realistic. I'm so tired of the distance its caused me a lot of misery but he won't do anything about the distance. How are we supposed to ever be together? My course is only a year long and he expects me to move to where he is after I graduate. I love him and have never wanted to be with anyone like this before but I just don't know if it's worth it. I'm just not happy anymore and I don't know if keeping this ldr going if things are going to get better or worse.

Just be honest with him and tell him your fears, concerns, worries.. Somehow each of you need to compromise to make this work. If you're the only going to see him all the time, that isn't fair to you..

Do you want to move to the States after you graduate?

If your relationship is causing you more distress than happiness, it is time to end it. This is true no matter what the distance, just think about if you are really, truly happy with him or if you feel another man would make your life better and you happier.
