She never said much about herself.... She friended me on facebook a few days ago and there was no wall on her profile???Just a few photos of her cat. She has about 100 friends all over the world. I don't know...Why doesn't she have a wall on facebook??Do youi think she's got something to hide? Is it normal -- No wall on facebook? Link to post Share on other sites

Sometimes friends have written stuff I didn't want everyone to see, and I didn't check my facebook in several days. Nothing bad, just didn't want everyone knowing my business. There is a certain "narcissism" to people who write constantly on Facebook...especially people who post constantly, as if everyone needs to know every little thing they do and who they did it with. Not saying they're bad. Maybe she just isn't the type who needs a "wall" to build up confidence and self-worth within herself and just wants to show you pics of cats. However I also think there might be some interest there if she sought you out and asked you to be her friend on facebook, whether there's a wall or not. Actually, I havnt signed into FB is a long time, and the reason is cause I just dont feel like every person on my friends list having access to all my business. Not that Im doing anything wrong..I just dont feel like having everyone keeping tabs on me. and they do...even though I havnt been on there in awhile, its super creepy to have someone say...oh, had a good time last weekend? I saw the pictures.. And im thinking..huh? WTF are you talking about? And then realize its cause another friend posted up the pics and its all on FB. I want to be able to keep in touch with everyone, but that doesnt mean I want my business out there...know what I mean? So yeah, I woudlnt hold it against her. Using FB to be in contact with those she would like to while not being another self-absorb, overly addicted, fake intricacy social network type. Bigger question is why it matters to you, and why you can't get to know her the old fashion way of talking and dating rather then snooping through her previous conversations? If she turn off walls then thats her business..I turn off some application in facebook too because facebook is so opne..if you dont set your privacy, everyone can read what is in there including walls..And its not good. It's like walking naked on the streets..
