nineyearsgone79 Posted September 9, 2009 Share Posted September 9, 2009 Hey Guys, Humf..so I'm writing to ask your advice on a thing or two. 3 weeks ago I went through a painful break up of my long distance ex of 9 years ug. He emailed me to break up with me...and said not to contact him because it would be to difficult..but that's another story ug. So lately though I have been trying to reach out and chat with old friends. Most recently i contacted one such friend who I had talked to on and off very infrequently. He was also semi friends / acquantances with the old ex. Anyway, we sparked up a good convo..talked for a few hours. Then he contacted me the following day with more good chat and I found out he too had broken up with his ex a month prior. So this went back and fourth throughout the week approx every other day one calling the other to just talk. We don't talk about "ex's" but other things going on in our lives and just fun chat. Anyway, I'm sort of getting feelings for this guy and last spoke to him on Saturday (I did the last call). The convo ended with him saying "have a nice weekend"... So...I haven't heard back from him since..and i'm stupidly antsy. I was hoping he'd call by now..and to be honest am starting to have some attraction towards him. I'm afraid though that I kept the convo to "friendshipy" and wish he would call me so we could i duno haha ...well I just think he's cute! I guess i'm just asking for thoughts & opinions. I don't think its to soon for me to start into things ..as me and my ex had been LD for many years and I hadn't seen him for at least 2 years.
