Dreamer had the best date!!!!!

So last night I had a cocktail date :) I was asked out by a guy through online dating, his words were .. "Could I take you out and buy you a few drinks tonight, and chat?"

 

Phone impression: Extremely friendly, calls when he said he would, shows a lot of interest.

 

Very first impression. Sexy eyes, handsome smile, a very warm personality. He was very nice when we 'met'. Opened all my doors. Guided me with his hand lightly on my back.

 

Let's call him A. A and I clicked so freaking good it's not even funny. I can't remember when I've laughed and smiled so much. We have tons in common. He is very charming, sweet, and considerate. His eyes light up when he gets excited about something he talks about. A has a good job, is stable, and seems very happy in life. We talked for hours and hours. There was affection. Great chemistry. We just clicked so well.

 

I don't want to jump to far ahead, but I can see myself dating just him, if the next few dates go as well. We actually have another date tonight. Something about this date just felt so right. I'm very excited about our date tonight. Giddy and fluttery. This is the best date I've had for sure since I moved here, and in the running for all time. :bunny::bunny::bunny::):):):)

Haha I'm gonna be a little snarky and say how cute I think it is that you refer to yourself in the third person... Dreamer had the best date.... :) But seriously, I'm really happy to hear it! Keep on keeping on... Move on down that road!!

He also did tell me that he's looking for a more serious relationship, as I asked him what he was looking for. He told me that he wasn't sure what to expect off hand meeting me, but he was pleasantly surprised. He said he didn't think our date would go so well. It was his first day on the dating site we met on. He said he was very glad he met me.

 

We have even the same vices. It's crazy! Our body language was totaly in sync.. Our legs facing each other. He always had his hand on mine or on my knee or something. Then I got up to use the little girls room, and on an impulse I gave him a kiss on the cheek. He grabbed my hand as I was walking away and pulled me back for a real kiss. It was sooooooooooooo cute!

Please don't take this badly, but in my experience, guys who are looking for something serious don't have their hands all over a girl on a first date and don't stick their tongue down her throat in the middle of the first date.

 

They take their time.

 

It seems like this guy's in a rush. I'm so cynical that I'm wondering if his wife is out of town for the weekend.

 

But then I trust Dreamer to know herself well enough to go for just what she wants. :)

Nothing felt rushed. It just seemed natural. When we were talking and what not, it felt like we've been out before, just how easy the conversation was and how it flowed. I will keep my eyes open though.

Honestly though, the best relationship I had (my ex fiance) started out quite similar, except we had sex much quicker. The only reason that R didn't work out was because I wasn't quite ready for a serious relationship so close to marriage and I pushed him away. He treated me very well. Our first date was drinks. And he was the same way with me. He was a great guy.

I wont get overly invested. And if I don't rush the sex eventually he'll get bored. Or if I have sex with him I'll find out if that's all he is looking for :lmao::lmao: Just kidding

 

I'll keep my eyes open, I've dodged a few players in my time :bunny::bunny:

 

In the mean time, I'm trusting my gut.

I think it is that it's all I'm worried about right now ;) I can keep from getting invested and still enjoy every minute :)
